My old charger would not charge my batteries that discharged down to 8 volts. I purchased this battery charger because it had a battery recovery mode. I connected it up to the battery and set it to 12v/10A quickly it went into recovery mode. After about two hours I measured the voltage with my meter and the voltage rose to 10v, after about 4 hours the charger went into charge mode and I measured the voltage at 12.1V. After about 8 hours the battery was fully charged to 13.1v. I did the same to my second RV battery and I had the same results. I was ready to dump these batteries and buy new ones before buy this charger and I am 100% happy with my purchase as it saved me hundreds of dollars. Now others might not have the same results as I did and it will be battery dependent. My batteries are 3 years old and went dead after I left accessories on in the RV for 3 weeks. It was certainly worth a shot to purchase this charger. For the build quality, it is plastic and I was surprised at how small and light it was and did not seem to be very durable, yet it was perfectly fine. The LED's are super bright, so bright that it is hard to read mode lettering below them. Overall I like this and would buy again but the long term reliability remains to be seen.

Good: Charger seems to work fine. Charges most of the batteries I've tried within 5-10 hours. This includes 2 Auto batteries, and 1 Motorcycle Battery. Not so much. Amazon specs say: Made in Switzerland. The label on the charger I received says: Made in China. Amazon listing says: 3 year warranty. Enclosed card says: 2 year warranty.

For most people - this will be a great, lightweight charger. Super simple to operate. Just connect and touch a button. I like how lightweight it is - and in the hands of someone that isn't an experienced auto tech - it would be impossible to hurt anything with this unit. The downside is - in the hands of an expert - this unit lacks versatility on account of it thinking "it's smarter than you". You can't force this unit to pulse, desulfate or charge unless IT thinks it should based on its measurements and programming logic. For me, I'd prefer it just do what I tell it to, regardless of whether or not it likes it. If I mess up - that's on me. The more you incorporate features into products to prevent them from making mistakes - the harder people will try to (not) think of ways to make mistakes.

When I first unpacked this charger, it seemed a bit on the cheap side. But when I unpacked it and took a good look, I changed my mind. The front and back panels are plastic, just like everything else these days, but the main case is, in fact, metal. It's painted with a textured red paint that makes it look plastic at first glance. The battery clamps also looked kind of cheap at first glance, but when I compared them to my 10 amp Schumacher battery charger, they're every bit as good. This charger handles more types of batteries than either of my other battery chargers. It also has reverse polarity protection, which my older battery charger do not have. I didn't have a dead battery to test it on, but I used it to charge up a AGM battery that probably had a half charge on it. I can't tell you how long it took to charge it because I left it on overnight, but it did charge it up to full and then go into a float charge. I also put it on my car's battery. I first hooked it up backwards (intentionally) and the charger gave me a warning. I then hooked it up correctly and let it go for a while. I came out a couple hours later and the battery was fully charged and in a float charge. Looks like I found myself a new go-to battery charger.

This is a review for NOONE 2/6/10 Amp Battery Charger, 6V/12V Car Battery Charger with Metal Shell, Fully-Automatic Smart Trickle Charger Automotive, Battery Maintainer for AGM, EFB, STD,Lead Acid Batteries. I ordered this charger because I really need something that had a maintainer. I have several batteries that I just don’t want to go bad, so I switch this between them, so a charge is maintained instead of them completely lose the charge and they are ready when I need them. It seems to be built well but I have only had it on two of those batteries so far and the auto shut oof function does work. When the battery received a full charge, it shut itself off. The only function I would have liked to of seen was a start function when you need to get going but you just need a jump start other than that, I can definitely recommend this if you are not in a hurry and possibly need to recondition or maintain your battery.

This is easy to use and understand. You can charge your battery if you need to give it a little boost. Not bad for the price and will definitely be using this on other things that may need a charge. The instructions list what types of batteries and other things you can use this for.
