There are multiple companies selling Ashwagandha these days, as it may be used to treat a variety of issues (look up an article titled “An Overview on Ashwagandha: A Rasayana (Rejuvenator) of Ayurveda” on the National Center for Biotechnology Information website). There is a ton of research backing it up, not to mention that people have been safely using it for thousands of years. Most people don’t realize how much of a toll any type of continued stress (school, kids, a long commute sitting in traffic, etc.) takes on their poor adrenals.. Cortisol plays a big role in that issue, and Ashwagandha helps you manage that more efficiently. I sincerely have a lot of appreciation for it. I used to feel bloated and sluggish at work, and my doctor told me she couldn’t explain what was going on, but it was probably due to stress. Bloodwork came back “normal.” After a few days taking this, I could tell I was getting rid of excess fluid (the difference was noticeable and my friends asked me about it), and I could increasingly feel this “gentle” and sustained energy during the day. Some people say it also helps with their sleep quality. It’s not the effect you will get from a typical stimulant, where your body gets hit almost instantly, and then that boost just goes away. Traditional stimulants like caffeine eventually start to make me feel tired, and then I just need more of it to feel energized. This won’t happen with Ashwagandha, as this is part of a treatment, where you’re not just putting a band aid on the problem trying to convince yourself it’s normal to feel tired all the time. I have tried multiple brands in the past, and I have to say this one is by far the best I could find, as it’s hard to encounter similarly high dosage and purity in other brands. Make sure you see your doctor if you’re not feeling ok. Mine was very supportive of my decision to take Ashwagandha. If you want to give it a shot, I would recommend trying this one and seeing how you feel after taking it for several days. Stay safe, everyone!

This stuff is incredible

This stuff in incredible! I wouldn't have believed a supplement could make such a change in my condition and general well-being, but it has. I was constantly fatigued from even the most simple exertion, short of breath and feeling like I was going to jump out of my skin. That, of course, produced anxiety and even some mild depression after a while from feeling like I just couldn't do anything. Then I found this product and what a difference it's made. I'm able to do the simple tasks that were such a chore and almost debilitating before. I have more energy, my mood is greatly improved (probably just out of relief) and the anxiety and stress are gone. I'm able to fall asleep easily and sleep through the night, too, so I wake up energized and ready to go. No, it isn't a miracle drug and it doesn't wrap you in clouds of utopia like a narcotic would do. It's amazingly subtle, but amazingly effective, too. I highly recommend it without reservation. Do yourself a favor and at least try it.

I can't live without this!

I can't say enough good things about this medication. With my first bottle I didn't think it was working until I realized I was actually falling asleep easier and getting better sleep than I was used to. It was only when that bottle ran out that I really saw the true benefits to my body. I went almost 2wks before I was able to reorder my 2nd bottle and I started having a lot of issues I hadn't noticed had gotten better. My joints started hurting again, I had a very difficult time sleeping or falling asleep and worst of all was I started having panic attacks again and my depression got so bad I missed work because of it. Within a few days of taking Ashwagandha again those symptoms started fading away and I felt so much better. The best things about this is that I've had zero negative side effects and its gently helps your body in ways you won't even notice at first. I have been telling everyone that will listen about this medication and I plan to never run out again! Also packaging and delivery have always been top notch.

Dr. Suggested to lower anxiety rather than a prescription

I had no idea that I had the anxiety that I did have. My Doctor thought I did & wanted to put me on anti-anxiety medicine, I agreed to try this. Since taking for 2 months, my blood pressure has gone back down and I actually feel calmer. This has been a great compromise. No flavor, it’s large, but easy to swallow, I have no sleep problems.

Tried this before Anti-anxiety/depression

I purchased this product out of desperation. Covid-19 lockdown has me really on edge after getting no time to myself, not to mention the uncertainty of wether or not I’ll have have to homeschool my kids.... I feel stressed ALL THE TIME! I also gained weight during quarantine and can’t seem to drop it(even with super consistent diet and exercise) and my doc said she thinks it’s because my cortisol is high from feeling so anxious/stressed all the time. So she prescribed me Zoloft. I have nothing against those kind of meds but I hate the though of having to ween myself off of them eventually, so I googled “natural cortisol reduction” and Ashwagandha popped up. Turns out it has a lot of benefits, but that you want one with black pepper in it to help with absorption. So, I ordered this one! After about 9 days of taking it I just noticed that I wasn’t feeling as worried or stressed, which feels amazing! I also have started losing a little bit of weight too which is nice. All in all I am super thankful for a natural option. My only complaint is that it isn’t organic.

The best in my opinion!

I have tried other brands of Ashwagandha, but Doctors Formula really delivers. I love the fact that the dosage is one capsule, although with the stress I’m under with my line of work I recently started taking two at bedtime. One made a huge difference, and two made a drastic difference for the better. I’ve even started having vivid dreams. My sleep is wonderful for a change. Since my stress is literally gone in my opinion, something I never thought I’d ever say, I no longer suffer from fatigue. My natural energy is through the roof and I haven’t been this happy in decades! I will be a lifer with Doctors Formula Ashwagandha! Love it!

I usually do not leave reviews but this is absolutely worth it. First of all, the price point is amazing, particularly for a 60 day supply. I have been battling anxiety and depression for YEARS. Tried a variety of antidepressants that have done nothing but cause weight gain! My depression was oftentimes tied to my menstrual cycle and therefore I had THE worst PMS/PMDD. I mean crying for two weeks straight before my period. It was also very irregular. Since taking the ashwagandha, everything has been better. No PMDD at all and my cycle is predictable again. Since COVID I have definitely still experienced anxiety but the depression is not there. I will admit, I take this at night so I am unsure to what extent it helps sleep- I do take melatonin as well. Anyway, this product is SERIOUSLY awesome. I have been recommending it to my friends. Honestly, without this, my COVID experience would be completely different. I will continue to order bi-monthly.
