I am impressed by the quality of these shucking knives especially for the cost. The handles are a solid feeling plastic and there are no plastic mold lines like I was concerned there may be. The metal seems nice and sturdy and does not have any flex to it which is good. The tip of the knife is slightly angled which works great for cutting the oyster from the shell. I recommend this as a great pair of knives to have in the drawer for when the hankering to eat some oysters strikes you

These are amazingly good oyster knives. I use a restaurant quality straight blade knife from Dexter and I wanted a nice angled one. Quality wise the Nonley knives are just as good, if not better. They’re extremely durable and stiff. The handle is top notch. The tip is thinned out very slightly, enough to help pry but not compromise durability. I’ve shucked over a hundred oysters already and it looks brand new still. I can’t believe how good they are at just $8.

Good value for these two oyster shucking knives! The blades are sturdy and well-shaped with an angled tip. I am thankful that the knives edges are smooth, so they are safe to use. The handle is solid, and shaped to avoid fatigue. These work well to keep my hand from getting tired when I need to shuck a couple dozen oysters.

The media could not be loaded. These shucking knives are surprisingly sturdy, way more rugged than I anticipated, with a nice textured handle to prevent slipping. I have been craving oysters, but they are really expensive in restaurants so I was determined to learn how to shuck them myself. It’s something I’ve wanted to learn for years, but the thought of running one of these knives into my hand always prevented me from trying. I watched half a dozen videos on how to do it and now that I see there’s safe ways to shuck, I feel way more confident. The thought of how long it would take to do a couple dozen if you’re feeding a group put me off, so I like that there are two knives and now I can get a friend to help me. I did a dozen in about 25 minutes and it will definitely be faster the next time. If you haven’t shucked oysters before, give it a try.
