We ordered four boxes to cover the front of our house along the gutter line. They went up in about 45 minutes total, most of which time was shifting the ladder and climbing up and down - actually hooking the clips on was a breeze, though I had to shift a few clips around to make them all point the same direction here and there, but no biggie. We did have one strand that had a couple of clips missing and another that was broken. I reached out to the seller and they sent a replacement box very quickly, so kudos to them for that. Taking them down again after Christmas only took about 30 minutes, again mostly dealing with the 10 ft ladder. Love how clean and uniform they all look pointing the same direction on our house - the only spot they don't is with a small section of gutter flashing where I can't hook anything, but that certainly isn't the fault of the clips. With two bad shoulders these saved me a ton of literal pain vs prior years. Worth every penny. Hopefully the last a while. ... show more

I looked at many different lights, and even bought some from our local stores. We really wanted a pattern - red and white preferred, but blue and white were second. I was a little worried about the lights being a bit dim, but with the built-in clips, I thought I would give these a try. They are a bit dim, so that was a little disappointing, but the built in clips make putting up the lights incredibly easy. If these didn't have the clips, I'd send them back. That's really why they got 5 stars. I was tempted to do a 4 star, but the clips were too convenient. Since the clips also tilt, it made the change from gutter to shingle very easy. And the clips have a wide mouth and can grab onto anything. I wish all lights had these built in. So, ultimately I wish they were brighter, but when it's dark, they're bright enough. And the ease of installation make these a winner in my book. ... show more

While I thought the lights were pricy, I found them the easiest lights I've ever installed on my house. The clips which come with the lights make it so anyone can easily install them. The lights themselves are a cool white with a slight blue hue to them. I have strung close to 30 strands together around the house without any degradation in the level of light emitting from them. Although expensive for only a small strand of lights, they are well worth it. Easy on, easy off. What used to take hours to hang icicle lights on the house now only takes a little over an hour. The already attached "clips" make hanging xmas lights so much easier & faster and not such a dreaded, tedious & frustrating chore. If only all xmas lights were this easy to hang!!!! This is our first season using them and so far, no burned out lights. Next year could be another story. Each strand also comes in its own sturdy, hard plastic box for safe storage. These are hands down the easiest outdoors lights to put up for Christmas! They make a perfect line and easy to clip to the roof or soffits.
