We ordered four boxes to cover the front of our house along the gutter line. They went up in about 45 minutes total, most of which time was shifting the ladder and climbing up and down - actually hooking the clips on was a breeze, though I had to shift a few clips around to make them all point the same direction here and there, but no biggie. We did have one strand that had a couple of clips missing and another that was broken. I reached out to the seller and they sent a replacement box very quickly, so kudos to them for that. Taking them down again after Christmas only took about 30 minutes, again mostly dealing with the 10 ft ladder. Love how clean and uniform they all look pointing the same direction on our house - the only spot they don't is with a small section of gutter flashing where I can't hook anything, but that certainly isn't the fault of the clips. With two bad shoulders these saved me a ton of literal pain vs prior years. Worth every penny. Hopefully the last a while. ... show more

I thought when I bought these, I was getting a good deal on them, easy installation, but then I went to Marc’s store,& found the same exact lights for only $6.99 and I paid almost $30 for each set of lights. Nothing I can do about it now.🤷♂️

I liked the ease of attaching these lights to the gutter and eaves of the roof. So far they have stayed attached to the house, even through the remnants of Hurricane Nicole. I'm not sure about the durability, perhaps trying them out next year would be a good indicator of their reliability.

    • Great design, not so good manufacturing
The lights are fantastic, just the right brightness, even glow with no hotspots. They’re packaged well and come with a couple spare fuses and globes. Really well designed! The issue is that they are not manufactured super well. Straight out of the box, the plastic clips and wires all show stress marks (where the plastic goes white at bends and corners) which makes me wonder how long these lights will last. I like them a lot and I hope I don’t have to replace them every year, that’d be wasteful. The clips are not installed the same way on every bulb, which isn’t a big deal you can flip them around yourself, but it hints at the factory being rushed. Finally one of the strings had 3 greens in a row (instead of green red green) and I couldn’t undo the middle green globe to replace it with a red one. Another example of not a big deal but shows that the plastic tolerances are too tight and what is the factory doing. Overall really convenient lights, I would even pay a few dollars more if these issues were sorted. ... show more

I looked at many different lights, and even bought some from our local stores. We really wanted a pattern - red and white preferred, but blue and white were second. I was a little worried about the lights being a bit dim, but with the built-in clips, I thought I would give these a try. They are a bit dim, so that was a little disappointing, but the built in clips make putting up the lights incredibly easy. If these didn't have the clips, I'd send them back. That's really why they got 5 stars. I was tempted to do a 4 star, but the clips were too convenient. Since the clips also tilt, it made the change from gutter to shingle very easy. And the clips have a wide mouth and can grab onto anything. I wish all lights had these built in. So, ultimately I wish they were brighter, but when it's dark, they're bright enough. And the ease of installation make these a winner in my book. ... show more

I purchased this product to decorate myths outside of the house for Christmas. Really love the design of the quick clips along with the quality. The only reason I give 4 stars is because if one single light goes out there is no replacing it unless you solder a new one in its place. That being said I ended up having a strand with a short in it that kept blowing fuses. Figured I’d send it back and replace. Nope! No more stock for the color I purchased. After receiving the rest of my boxes(I got 22 boxes) I noticed I had a single bulb go out. So decided since I couldn’t get a replacement I would just use that strand for spare parts. So that’s just what I plan to do. Solder a new bulb in its place. Other than that I really hate that there is no contact information for simple questions on the website. These arrived on they day they said. They were packaged very well. The light sets each came in the nice plastic bin with lids. These will be very nice for storage for next year. The color is exactly what I wanted. I was leary to buy on line due to the size of what you are expecting and what you get can be very different. I will say these are exactly what I was expecting. The light’s brilliance is above average, but the most amazing feature I liked was how simple and quickly I was able to install each string of lights. The attached alligator style clip was secure, allow to pivot, grip securely, and easy to align each bulb to one another. Also, the space between each bulb was excellent, much closer together (8” spacing) too. I would definitely buy again. The time savings offsets the premium price. ... show more
