Only complaint is the side stability legs do not have a lock or anything for transport nor the snap handle. Good tool overall. Cuts great and made reasonably well for the money, but ABSOLUTELY needs to be completely squared and adjusted before usage. The rail, fence, body and laser (if you want to use it), must absolutely be adjusted prior to use. My cutter was off by a complete inch in full length! That is crazy. First i loosened all of the 4 fence to body bolts and adjusted the fence to square using a 3 foot framing square. After tightening those, i adjusted the actual rail as that was off quite a bit. Used a piece of 1/4 inch thick mdf 2x4ft sheet to score near the bottom and top, then check the measurement from edge. Then adjusted the rail near the top of the unit by loosening the bolts, moving the rail over about 1/16 and tightened. Then finally the laser. Now its pretty accurate (about 1/32 off over 4 ft) and works great.

After a few minutes I was making perfect cuts on porcelain tile. This would have saved me so much time, with less mess and less noise when I used my wet saw on past tile jobs. It only took a few minutes of practice cuts and I had repeatable perfect cuts on 24” tiles. It even cut a piece of glass with the same results. The laser was useless outdoors but probably fine indoors.

The media could not be loaded. Right out of the box it seemed somewhat flimsy. The reviews I read seemed positive and I really wanted this thing to work. The laser was damaged and could not be adjusted because the screws were stripped on one side making it impossible to adjust. I bought this tile cutter because it was supposed to handle large format tile. I was cutting 23x46 inch tiles. Scoring the tile was simple but breaking the tile would not work as there was so much flex in the overhead bar and the base. I had to purchase another hand held tile break just to do the job. I’ve set a lot of tile in the past so I was very frustrated with this machine. I think a dual overhead bars would provide more support as well as a stronger base. Cutting Smaller tiles were no problem 12”x12”, but I bought this for the larger format tile. I would have sent this product back, but unfortunately bought it earlier in my renovation before we were able to use it and after the return date. I think even for the price It’s not worth it. Spend a little more and get something more solid.
