Description

The NOCO BG31 is a Group 24-31 (adjustable with included battery divider) battery box for automotive, marine, RV, deep-cycle, and lithium-ion batteries, including cars, boats, campers, travel trailers, pontoon batteries, and more. This battery box features an all-new rugged and snap-lock design making it more durable and easier to install than ever before. Its simplified mounting allows for installation without a battery strap using pre-drilled internal pilot holes or a battery strap mount for more demanding applications. It safely protects batteries from unwanted battery movement, accidental shorting of battery terminals, collects battery acid, and allows adequate ventilation. And it meets with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Code of Federal Regulations 183.420 and American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) E-10.7 specifications. It includes the BG31 Group 24-31 Battery Box, 48-Inch Battery Hold-Down Strap, Battery Mounting Tray, and Four (4) 8x1-Inch Self-Tapping Screws.

This is a very nice battery box, I'm using it for 12V LiFePO4 batteries that are roughly the same dimensions is a Group 31 battery. My only complaint is that it does not provide much space between the top of the battery and the lid on the inside so I could not use the Blue Sea fuse block terminals I had in the past due to the stud screw being too tall to allow the lid to shut properly. So I'm going with a different fusing arrangement. But these are a nice clean looking box for G31 size batteries. Room for large battery cables. comes with straps and hardware for mounting. Straps are way more user-friendly than the ones that came with my old 6V GC battery boxes. ... show more

Live this box. I was able to cut a small small hole in top so I could attach a circuit breaker to the top of the battery and have the button pass through. Its cheap, durable, great for carrying a battery, and great at keeping water out on the boat. It came with nice accessories for attaching into the boat aswell. ... show more

NoCo is known for good quality parts and they did not disappoint. This is an excellent battery box, installs easily, Group 31 battery fits well and the stops are plenty strong to keep a smaller Group 24 or 27 battery stationary, lid seals well but still has plenty of room for large cables to be neatly routed through, the snap top is secure and latching mechanism is protected from weather and UV light so I expect that it will not deteriorate like the exposed retaining systems found on most all other battery boxes and I won't be loosing the lid again. ... show more

Seems like a nice battery box. I bought this to replace a NOCO battery box I bought a couple years ago. My lid had come off the old box and I decided to just buy the new one. The new box is longer than the old styl and this did not fit in my battery tray. Just make sure to measure your spot. I had assumed they would be a straight replacement. The box is large, it has extra space for cables. The biggest thing is it stays closed. The last one I had the lid came off while driving down the road so the battery wasn't protected. This one I've traveled half way across the US and no issues.

The battery box was delivered complete and as described by the seller; the package includes the box, snap-on top, divider plate, hold-down strap and mounting tray with screws. I am using this battery box for the LiFePO4 battery which powers the trolling motor on my fishing canoe. The divider plate provides a snug fit at the smallest position and leaves space for storage of other accessories.
