Although this necklace is gorgeous, the clasp is unusable unless you never want to take it of. It looks like the one end slides into the opening, but no, you have to open the clasp on the side and lay the other side in until it stops at the piece of metal that sticks up. It can’t be opened with fingernails and if you try, you’d end up with several broken, and once it’s opened and the other end is inserted the part that takes inhuman strength to open won’t close completely. And forget about taking it off, because you can’t see the side that opens unless you look into a mirror and repeat the above info to get the one side out of the clasp. It takes more than two people to work to get it off. Oh, and it comes shrink wrapped to keep it from scratching, except you can’t get the shrink wrap off without using scissors or a knife to cut down a 1/4” and peel it down to cut another 1/4” and repeat. It took my husband five minutes to take the shrink wrap off. Do yourself a favor and buy a different chain. —Susan ... show more
