I've had a chance to use this once. It took a minute or two to bring up enough voltage, but with a few groans from the starter, the car fired right up. Seems to hold a charge for a good bit of time; maybe 6 months so far.

Bought this on a whim since the price was good, I have an older that if you leave a light on you'll drain the battery. I've had to have AAA come 2 times since owning my car in 7 years, I figured if I do it again I can jump it myself. Thinking I'll never use it, I've now used it 3 times since buying it. Weather has gotten very cold and the battery is old now so this has been a life saver each time, worth the money and works well. Also the ability to use it as a power bank is a big plus. The hook up is idiot proof and safer to use then hooking up jumper cables, the chance of damaging two or one car has pretty much been eliminated. ... show more

I originally bought this for my motorcycle, but because of it's power and compact size, I keep it in my truck in the winter - just in case. I've not had to use it, fortunately, but it holds it's charge - even in below-0 weather, so it's nice insurance.

Impressive little box. Easy to use and does the job. Much easier than hassling with thick jump cables and asking strangers for help. My only complaint is that the charging port is an outdated, slow, and FRAGILE USB micro-B. This connector breaks very easily, so be carefull when connecting to charge. Time to update to USB-C for connector robustness, charging speed, and actual convenience as everything is USB-C today, even Apple. ... show more

jumped my car a couple of times after some freezing nights. my battery will be completely empty if falls below 20 degrees for too long. I did a few jumps without having to recharge. however it didn't work one day when it was 8 degrees and my battery was completely dead. im not sure what the reason is, but i doubt its the jump starter as it seemingly works fine above 20 degrees, and my battery did take some charge but not enough to start. this is buying me some time to keep my battery until i can afford to figure out if i need another one or if its a different issue. ... show more

My son purchased one of these and it worked perfectly. I went back to my house and purchased one matching the size of engine for my daughter and I. Thankfully we have not had to use them yet. Thick instruction book but you only use two pages for English.
