I’m from the Caribbean. I bought these chairs for my mother around Christmas, but 1 set ( they come 2 in a box) got lost after being delivered to my US address. I thought maybe because of the time, it was just really busy with my shipping company. When the following week rolled around, I made contact. They couldn’t find my package.     • Beautiful chairs, poor directions, fragile legs

Despite a couple issues, these chairs are a beautiful rich blue, soft to the touch and on the lightweight side, compared to our old heavy wood chairs. They give good back support and the springy cushions hold up to long dinners or board games in comfort. The shipment got a bit messed up as they only sent one of my two boxes initially, but after I notified the company, they must have overnighted the second box since it came so quickly. Assembly was a bit confusing. The instructions have small pictures without explicitly showing where the front leg inserts. (The answer is in the very front corner. It doesn't look like it will fit, but it will!) Also, the hardware pack doesn't match the instruction's list for screw sizes. The packs give you shorter screws than listed, barely long enough for the front legs. In fact, they are so short, they only go about 1/4 inch into the metal sleeve insert in each leg. On two of the legs I had to omit the lockwasher to get a screw to grab the leg. My husband thinks he could use a larger allen wrench to unscrew the sleeve a bit for better connection, but that hasn't happened as yet. One leg came out of the box split, but that's the end that gets inserted so it seems to work fine. In fact, because my kids tried to put the legs into the wrong area behind the brace, a few of them got split, but are strong when inserted in the proper sleeve anyway. The only other negative is that the fabric is easily shredded by the cat (who, as you recall is used to old wooden dining chairs.) Solution: use Fray Check via toothpick application to stop the fray, then trim the strands. It doesn't affect the color. Next, put the cat through a crash course in anti-scratching etiquette via the use of a severe scare followed by chasing and dousing with a squirt bottle filled with water. Then arm your chairs with a light application of de-stickified packing tape lightly applied to the sides where he is tempted to scratch. (I used my fleece shirt to take the 'stick' off the tape.) So far, so good. He is smart, he will learn. I would advise you to put sliders in the bottom of the legs instead of the grippy feet provided, especially if using on a rug. One of the legs snapped from trying to scootch in during dinner! I thought of sliders a bit too late. And, no, the company will not respond to my inquiry regarding a replacement leg! ... show more

I’ve had these chairs for about 9 months now. All chairs are loose and wobbly now. I retighten the screws but it’ll just come loose. The chairs are beautiful though, I just wish they were more durable. I got them for a really good deal for a set of 4 so I’m happy with that! The chairs were not sat on daily and just when we have guests over. so if you’re looking for daily dining chairs, I’d say look somewhere else! ... show more

We have had the same chairs for the last 10 years so decided to order some new ones. These chairs came within a few days, easily assembled and are currently being enjoyed by the whole family. They are very comfy and I was surprised to see they have springs in the seats to help facilitate sturdiness.
