I really like this tool organizer. Our tools were all over the garage and taking up all counter spaces. I couldn’t find anything when I needed it. This has enough space for a lot of tools. It has three tires. Power tools on the bottom and two shelves, above. It was fairly simple to put together and looks like it is pretty sturdy. I haven’t put it up on a wall yet, as we are repainting the garage but I think we will get another one and put them next to each other to save more counter space.

I really like the overall design, the size and in particular the pegboards on the sides (great idea). The wall anchors are good, the overall quality it pretty good, assembly is fast and easy. Unfortunately there are two major issues that really take this down: 1.) There is no level adjustment, you must take care when hanging it. 2.) The shelves never really fold flat when you assemble it, they tent up a bit in the center. This means that if you hang this with a level it will not be level when you finish the job. You have to measure the holes form the floor for a level installation. As a lazy person who hangs shelves with a level I was unhappy with how this looked (slightly crooked and still with tented shelves) at the end. I guess I could re-hang it but that is annoying, plus it wouldn't solve the shelf issue.

This is easy to assemble and has plenty of space for all of your tools. I like that the shelves fold and the overall construction is sturdy and simple. It brings me such joy to see my tools neatly organized on the wall.

Let me start with the unboxing experience, which was quite disappointing. The decision to compromise the structural integrity of the shelving and create a more complicated part, seemingly just to save a few cents on shipping and storage, is baffling. Not only did this make the manufacturing process slightly more involved, but keeping the shelf intact would have allowed for the same compact storage in a thinner, yet longer box. It would have also prevented the shelf from bowing up after assembly due to imperfect tolerances during manufacturing. Furthermore, the manufacturer managed to forget to include the threaded inserts on one side of the bottom hanging shelf piece, rendering it unusable. To top it off, the powder coating job was of such poor quality that it was literally flaking off as I was screwing the sides in. While the idea behind this product seemed cool initially, the execution was terrible. The compromises made to save a few cents on shipping and storage resulted in a structurally compromised product with manufacturing defects and a subpar finish.

I always find I don't have enough shelves to store things in my garage, so I thought the OPENICE Power Tool Organizer would help with my problem. The entire unit is made of metal, so the word "flimsy" never comes to mind with this organizer. Putting the organizer together was quite simple and took only a few minutes. The two included shelves are hinged in the middle and come folded. While this saves on space when shipping, they seem to never be truly flat. Because of the slight "bend up," it was a tad difficult to get a true level reading, so I did the best I could. Once I got it installed, I have placed my ratchet set on top of that area so it wasn't a big deal. I think it's very smart the walls of the unit are pegboard so you can utilize the provided hooks and other accessory holders (hammer and screwdriver). I will say, the hammer holder only holds my ball peen hammer and not my traditional hammers; it's just a little odd in how they fit so I took them out. The included hooks are very useful, but would've loved to have had a couple of two inch hooks included too. Now I've got a great quality, sturdy shelf unit that doesn't take up a ton of space!
