The no-drip function was good. I have a standard travel crate and it was difficult to position it correctly. The hooks have to be forced on, and the spacing of the hooks and nozzle made it hard to place it on the wire grids. Doesn't work too well for flying b/c it has to be empty initially and you can't just add water from the top, but have to take it off, turn it over, fill it back, then maneuver it on (which airport staff is likely unwilling to do). my pup is kenneled whenever no one is home and I hate the idea of her not having water. I tried a small bucket latch to the kennel, but she would spill it. Then I tried ice in the bucket because she likes ice, but she ended up wetting everything with that too. I finally broke down and bought this! It’s great! No more wet blankets or floors when we come home and she has water! The only thing I didn’t like was that the hooks didn’t fit quite right on the kennel, so I made my own ties for it. This has been a life saver for me and my pup! My pup loves to play in the water so I have not been able to give her a water bowl in her kennel with more than an inch of water. This also caused me to have to refill her water sooo much. But this water dispenser has been the life savor I was looking for. My pup caught in immediately on how to use it and uses it constantly. She is 3 months old and for the time she spends in her kennel and not outside she goes through a full container of water in about two days. It doesn’t drip unless she gets the ball pushed in too much which is an easy fix.
