We bought this scooter less than 5 months ago because of the reviews and warranty. The back tire blew off the back rim wow my son was driving it around campus at Georgia Tech. Reached out to the company and they did nothing! I would give zero stars if possible! Happy my son is safe... unhappy with both this company and Amazon for doing nothing about it. It’s a great quality scooter. The speed just perfect . Once the battery dies your can’t ride the scooter like a regular scooter. Because of the battery life, it isn’t worth the buy . It take hours to charge a full battery. In a full charge I could only do 5 to 7 mile trip on one charge. Then I’m left with 2 bars.I can’t make it to and from back home in one full charge. Here’s a revised version with improved clarity, flow, and grammar: I purchased this to run errands in the city, and it goes fast—about 24-25 mph. I weigh roughly 195 lbs, and it's not too heavy to carry up 2-3 flights of stairs. However, my model seems to be defective, as the latch that secures the handlebar when folded for transport doesn't function properly. I contacted customer service via phone and email regarding the issue, and they directed me to fill out a form on their website to request technical support or repair services. I submitted the form, and while it took a few days for them to respond (which is understandable due to the time zone difference), they ultimately denied my repair request without any explanation. When I called customer service for clarification, they simply advised me to resubmit the form, offering no further assistance. Instead of going through the hassle again, I decided to return the product. This scooter is foldable, easy to store and take away. Build quality looks durable. I enjoy the smooth and fun ride. However, when i first put it together, it didn’t power on. The instruction on step 2 just mentions putting the scooter head onto the body and fixing with 6 screws. I found out the power connector cable was actually disconnected. Once the wire is connected, it powers on. So hope this helps if you run into the sane issue. ... show more

The scooter itself is great. Great speed, great mileage, but after getting a flat tire. It's impossible to even find another tire knowing that no place makes a 10.5×2.5 tire. I tried contacting the company and they are charging me 55 for a new tire, pretty expensive in my opinion. I also encounter some problems with the brakes that make alot of squeaky sounds which gets annoying over the time ... show more

NIU is not deserve even one star. Customer service is not available easily. I can't find spare parts anywhere including Amazon, eBay, Aliexpress , online retailers for 300P scooter wheels. I'm original buyer/owner and I contacted via NIU website and require to fill out S/N, receipt, order number, invoice number and including photos of my rear wheel punctured. NIU email to me back after a week to send scooter to the repair place in Eastcoast instead send to me spare wheel. Email back and fort take almost 3 weeks and they still did not provide me return conformation number. I'm going to report to BBB their no parts, no repair service and not honoring Warranty. This is for my son Birthday present and even he rode about only couple weeks and rear tire got punctured. ... show more
