Purchased this for a thru hike of the OHT. It arrived the morning I left. Quickly charged it and hit the trail. Operation is extremely simple. Light was bright enough to scare off critters and light up the ground for snakes. The most well thought out feature is the cords glow in the dark. The strap is too fiddly and hard to keep from tangling and a little too small to boot. But it's easy to make a better version on the cheap and the light itself is pretty great. Nice battery life especially.

The light is extremely bright and I love that you can tilt the light so you can point it where you need it.
