    • Relief for thick grass on the trolling motor
A friend recommended this be installed on our new trolling motor since we freshwater fish in Florida. The grass is so thick in the shallow lakes we had to stop and clean the trolling motor blades several times a trip. No need to do that now. Easily installed and works great.

Fished heavy cover for 5 days in Florida. Never had to clean anything but a couple of dollar weeds in 5 days 8 hours a day. Not bad. Didn't trust the tape installation so I drilled for holes in the product and JB welded it on. Held up great.

I have a 75 lb thrust trolling motor in my bass boat and previously I couldn’t even go near a grass mat without getting my motor jammed up. Installed the ninja on my motor today and tested it out and am very impressed, cut seamlessly through all types of grass without a problem. A little concerned about the 3m sticky pad holding it in place long term but only time will tell if that ends up being a problem. Great product. ... show more

i placed this on a motorguide xi3 55lb thrust trolling motor. The gap between prop and blade less than a quarter inch. It seemed to do fine in hydrilla and bonnets with some difficulty on larger bonnet stems. Not impressed bought the new prop from mg and had to remove the grass blade as the new prop fit so tight there was no room for the blade. Still waiting on weather to try new prop. ... show more

    • Don't wase your money
Looked like a Good product but seemed over priced. I gave it a shot regardless. I installed it exactly as directed, even sanded the surface of the mounting spot a bit to assure proper adhesion... Got tangled up in some weeds on the first trip out, pulled my drive to clear the prop and the grass ninja was gone. Only a bit of the double tape used to affix it was left.. it was completely pulled off by weeds alone.. total 100% waste of money.. it sticks on with double tape so I'm assuming they rip off frequently. Standard razor blades taped down with some gorilla tape worked better and sty fixed longer, also MUCH cheaper to replace when they do fall off.. ... show more
