Users appreciate the durability and versatility of these pots and pans, noting that they work well across different cooking methods and heat sources. Although the initial investment may be significant, many find the quality and cooking experience to justify the cost. However, there are concerns about long-term durability, with some users experiencing issues like cracking, chipping, and peeling over time.

Should I Buy It?

If you're in the market for a set of heavy-duty, versatile cookware that performs consistently across a range of cooking activities, the Ninja Foodi NeverStick pots and pans could be a worthwhile investment. However, potential buyers should weigh the cost against concerns over long-term durability and consider their willingness to follow care instructions closely to mitigate these issues.

  • Excellent, heavy duty anodized non-stick cookware!
Size: 12pc set
We had a bunch of super-cheap, random, non-stick pots and pans with a fairly traditional smooth Teflon-style non-stick coating. They were thin aluminum and the coating had begun to flake and scratch, some were dented and due to poor weighting, didn't sit evenly flat on the cooking surface. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing these Ninja Foodi NeverStick pots and pans, and this was absolutely the right solution for us. This 12-piece set had almost everything we were looking for and while not cheap, was the right price point for a quality set of cookware. Having used it now for a couple of months, here are my thoughts: - This stuff is not flimsy, thin, lightweight, or cheap feeling. These are thick-walled and dense and almost feel more akin to cast iron in the surface texture. (They are definitely lighter than cast iron, but heavier than thin-walled cheap aluminum.) - This cookware does require preheating (for the non-stickiness to work well,) and because of the extra material, it does take a bit longer to heat up to temp, but I would say it heats very evenly as a result, and makes cooking far more consistent. - Our lids are the "stackable" kind with the round nesting knob handles, and I do like that they can be shared between the pots and pans. In hindsight, however, the stacking feature of the lids wasn't really all that practical, as while the lids are "pretty" when stacked up, you inevitably need whatever isn't on top, and so have to pull them all apart every time you use them anyway. I'm still looking for a good cupboard organizer to slot the lids into sideways so they are all always easily available. - The one feature I would have liked to have seen, that comes in other brands of cookware but not these, were vent holes in the lids. It hasn't been a big issue, and I haven't had issues with gurgling lids or boil-overs, but having a steam vent in the lids would be nice. - The "non-stickiness" of this cookware is better than I expected. When I felt the texture of the cookware, I thought "how could this be non-stick?," and the first egg I tried to cook without oil or butter was a definitely mess, but I hadn't pre-heated the pan, and apparently that matters. When I tried again, and the pan was fully pre-heated, it worked flawlessly. I have used butter and oil with no problems as well, but be aware that you should not use cooking spray with these, however. (Apparently you shouldn't use cooking spray with ANY non-stick cookware. Who knew?) - Cleanup of this cookware has been easy, and while Ninja says this cookware is dishwasher safe, I have seen reviews where reviewers have said that the bases may become discolored if you wash them in the dishwasher (likely due to the reactivity of the aluminum with harsher detergents,) so we have been handwashing these to keep them looking nice. That said, I do already see some discoloration on a few of the bottoms, probably a result of occasional spillage on the cooking surface. I'm sure some Bartender's Friend and a good scrub would polish them right up. The only other note I had on this was that the rivets are an area where it might be more difficult to remove sticky food like eggs. The cooking surfaces have been very easy to clean and still look good. - We are babying this cookware a bit as I am still unsure how durable the anodized surfaces are. Ninja recommends putting paper towels between them when stacked, which we aren't doing, but I do take a little extra caution when taking these out and putting them away not to bang or scrape them together too much. Ninja also says that metal utensils may be used with these, but we already had nylon utensils, and I am skeptical enough that I wouldn't risk using metal unless I absolutely had to. Overall, I am very happy with this cookware, and I think it was a great investment for our kitchen! ... show more

  • Worth the investment! Or NOT! NOT!
I got the 16 piece set. 9 pots & pans (of every size you'll ever need) & 7 lids. At the investment price of $499.00. I don't know where to start but I'll try to keep it short. They do everything they say they do. First, I should have gotten them a long time ago but the price kept me on the fence. I'm glad I got them, it was an investment. Since I love to cook they are so fun to use. It was worth the investment. To get equipment that makes it more fun to be in the kitchen and do something that you love to do even more. There is a small learning curve to overcome and by that I mean let them heat up slowly. Thell perform and clean up the way they say that they do. Such even heat distribution but you can still get a great sear on a steak or any other piece of meat. They have a great thick base(that can be used on Every type of stove you might have). They are thick and weighty but not to heavy and go from stove top to oven even with the lids on. I made sloppy Joes and taco meat last week. You know the longer you simmer things the better the food takes on the flavors. I had NO problem with a slow simmer. But I had forgotten that I had it cooking and rushed in expecting the food to be scorched on the bottom. Nope, the spatula and the bottom of the meat were just fine. With the thick bottom of the pans & the even heat distribution everything was just fine. I could keep going but the last thing I want to mention is the cleanup. A wet towel to wipe it out and you can keep on going. They clean up in a breeze with a soft towel. If you do get some sticking I used a Mr.Clean eraser and it cleaned up beautifly. And they can go into the dishwasher but I wash all my good stuff by hand. I just feel better doing it that way. With that said, don't hesitate and make the Investment, you'll be Happy 😊 you did. Review Update on 01-20-24 Well, they're good while they're not cracking, chipping, and peeling. Out of all of the pans I got in the very expensive set, for started cracking and peeling. I was able to get one of them replaced due to the 10-year warranty. But the cost of shipping was almost the price of a new pan so I don't see where the warranty came into play. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a set of the Granite Stone pans. That's the other side I have, and I've had it longer than this set, and it has not given me one problem ever. Not one scratch, not one chip, nothing, and it's still easy to clean up as it was on the first day I got them. Not only do they cook the same as the first day I got them, but I'm also going to get myself a second set to replace this set. So do yourself a favor, get yourself a set of the Granite Stone!. I did and LOVE them. Best investment ever. These work so well, they do what they say, non-stick all the way, easy cleanup, best investment ever. Well as I stated above I received a replacement pot under the warranty at the cost of $23. Apparently you're not allowed to let these pots and pans sit in any type of liquid whether it be water or dish soap. The same thing is happening to this pan as well. The coating on these pants are terrible the pans themself are very nice it's just the coating. I highly do not recommend spending any money on these pans whatsoever. The warranty and replacement is ridiculous you might as well just buy brand new pants. ... show more

  • Worth the Money
Size: 8pc set
Got it wife used it and loves it. The claim that it cools slower was not noticeable. It is good quality you can tell it is heavy duty. Cleanup was basically run with water and wipe with a paper towel. Super easy. If I to pick at anything is that the finish is a little rough because it is cast. But if you ever have had a cast iron pan then it is a lot like that. But still with out the whole rusting aspect of cast iron because it is hard anodized cast aluminum. Worth the money spent in my opinion. ... show more

  • Save your money. I've had box store $100 sets last longer.
Bought these a little over a year ago, in hopes that they would actually last given predominantly good reviews. Looked to be good quality, solid construction. Did everything the instructions said to do from the onset. About 7-8 months in we started to notice bubbles in the nonstick finish, especially in the pots. Initially hoped it was just an imperfection in the finish we somehow missed. Not long after, they started to deteriorate significantly to the point that I no longer felt comfortable using them due to what we might ingest flaking into our food. Remembered that they have a 10 year replacement warranty so I looked into that. The wording gives me basically zero confidence that they'll actually replace them, and additionally if they actually do, they charge you to ship their inferior quality product back to them. 10 year warranty, didn't last a year, please hand us more money to replace them and judging by a number of reviews I've been reading as of late, in a year I'll right back where I am now. Think I'll pass. Save your money and buy cheap ones from Walmart/Target/etc. You'll get at least 2 years out of them and be money ahead in the long run. Never again. ... show more
