  • stylish, comfortable, and incredibly effective
Color: Haka Reading (Classic Rectangle) Frame -... Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
I recently purchased the J+S Vision Reading Blue Light Glasses, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. These glasses have truly transformed my reading and screen time experience. First and foremost, the design is sleek and modern, making them not only functional but also fashionable. The lightweight frame makes them incredibly comfortable to wear for extended periods, whether I'm reading a book or working on my computer. One of the standout features for me is the blue light blocking technology. Since I started wearing these glasses, I've noticed a significant reduction in eye strain and fatigue, especially after long hours in front of screens. They've helped me sleep better too, as they filter out the harmful blue light that can disrupt our circadian rhythms. Moreover, the clarity of the lenses is exceptional. They provide crisp and clear vision, allowing me to read for longer periods without experiencing any discomfort. Whether I'm reading a paperback or scrolling through articles on my phone, the J+S Vision Reading Blue Light Glasses provide excellent visual clarity. Overall, I highly recommend these glasses to anyone looking to protect their eyes and enhance their reading and screen time experience. They're stylish, comfortable, and incredibly effective at reducing eye strain. Investing in a pair of J+S Vision Reading Blue Light Glasses was one of the best decisions I've made ... show more

  • Really helps with eye strain from phones or PC screens
Color: Haka Reading (Classic Rectangle) Frame -... Magnification Strength: 3.0 x
Works as advertised. Reduces eye strain, well made with nice case and cleaning cloth. My only small CON: is it's hard to get the lenses clean. I wipe them with the cloth, put them on and I can feel my eyelashes flapping from static electricity 😁 and it attracts all the fuzz and pet hair.. hard to keep clean. Could be the dry winter air.? They do cut strain from screens light. They are clear, vision wise and magnify good and clear. ... show more

  • Perfect for starting out (blocking blue rays eventually becomes essential to any heavy computer user)
Color: Haka Reading (Classic Rectangle) Frame -... Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
[Later: I've ordered another pair of these glasses. They're better than 6 similar ones as well as my new prescription glasses with transition lenses. I've come to rely upon these J+S glasses for all computer work and can't afford to take the time to hunt down an "only" pair.] The frames are the ultimate in comfort and fit. The plastic is almost "weightless" yet durable, with two-way spring hinges that used to be seen only on frames listed at $200. I find 1.5X power to be perfect for use with a lap-top (you may prefer 1.75X-2X power fro a desktop machine, anything more powerful than1.5X seems to make me a bit dizzy).. Initially I thought the tint was too light to be an effective blue ray blocker. And I'm still skeptical of the seller's claim that these reading glasses block 90% of the blue rays (based on what evidence? what measurement?). The internet hype about blue light and its harmful effects has yet to make significant inroads with the scientific community. But I can attest that these glasses make reading a computer screen easier, while perhaps lessening the blue rays. Whereas my eyes go blurry after a single hour at the computer while wearing regular prescription glasses (with progressive lenses), I can stay with the screen for two hours with the J+S Vision Reading Glasses. And the tint is so minimal that it doesn't seriously distort the colors of your familiar world. As a rule of thumb, the darker the tint (or, rather, the oranger the orange), the greater the percentage of blocked blue rays and the less the strain. Experiment. Soon you'll find glasses so orange that they block not merely blue rays but vision itself. Those are the ones you'll wear no more than a single time--but no laments unless you spent more than $25 on them. (Eventually, you'll be confident enough to invest in a pair of genuine BluBlockers.) ... show more

  • Work great, not sturdy
Color: Haka Reading (Classic Rectangle) Frame -... Magnification Strength: 1.0 x
These glasses worked great for me. It helped me see the computer screen and filtered out the blue light. Kinda amazing really. However after a few months of wearing you will hear a snap and they will break around the nose piece. I reglued with epoxy and now the other side broke. To be fair I ordered other glasses on amazon and they broke too. No abuse, don't carry in pocket, they just break. Edit: 8/29/2021 - J+S reached out to me and asked for pictures of my glasses. They wanted to make it right and warranty the glasses. I didn't really care because I epoxied them and they are only for inside home use. They sent me a new pair. We will see how these hold up. It is weird that you'll be wearing the glasses and hear like a little snap, and the glass frames crack. I'll see how long these new ones hold up. Thanks J+S. Customer service A+ ... show more

  • Reduced the eye strain during computer use
Color: Haka Reading (Classic Rectangle) Frame -... Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
I bought the glasses because i work on the computer about 9 hours per day. By the end of the day, my eyes are dry and hurt from both the computer and industrial lighting I work in. Tried the glasses with 1.50 magnification. The magnification is too strong for my eye sight, so my fiancé is using the glasses. He's loving them for computer use, phone and reading. We both found the intense white light from the computer was reduced with the glasses. The screen color is softened (yellowed), but the lenses do not appear to be yellowed which i liked. I will be purchasing the non-magnification pair next for my use. I would recommend trying these for anyone using a computer and having dry irritated eyes. If they don't work out for your computer use, they are great reading glasses outdoors. ... show more
