Meet the mirrorless Nikon Z5II—a trustworthy companion that will evolve with you, at every step of your journey. The Z5II’s full-frame BSI-CMOS sensor is 50% larger than competitive APS-C models. That means it collects more light, so you can enjoy cleaner, more detailed images in all conditions. Plus, there’s no crop factor with full-frame/FX format NIKKOR Z lenses, so wide-angles stay genuinely wide. Powered by Nikon’s unique deep learning-based AI technology and finely-tuned to give you great results in a huge range of shooting situations. Enjoy effortless subject detection for people, dogs, cats, birds, vehicles and more, incredible precision, even when your subject is tiny in the frame, and smart focus that automatically tracks your subject. Your creativity doesn’t stop when the sun goes down, and neither does the Z5II. Keep on shooting even in almost complete darkness, with an expanded ISO sensitivity range of 100-64,000 and a suite of features designed to unlock new creative possibilities in low light. Autofocus works all the way down to -10EV, great for live performances, astrophotography and more. Create star trails with shutter speeds as long as 15 minutes and Starlight View, which brightens your view in near darkness. Upgrade your footage with 4K/60p and 12-bit N-RAW in-camera capture, 5x slow motion, professional LUTs for N-Log, simple live streaming and more. Choose from 30 built-in color presets, or create and save your own and switch between them in a snap using the dedicated Picture Control button. Features like Skin Softening, Portrait Impression Balance and face + eye-detection leave you free to focus on posing and framing. Wireless remote control, cloud storage, curated color presets and more, all when you connect a compatible smart device to the cloud.

Exceptional!
After my old D7100 took an unceremonious dive off a balcony, I was in need of a new camera. I was planning to get a D7500, but with the sun setting on DSLR, I started researching DSLM, and settled on the Z5 as a good balance of cost to capability. I ordered the FTZ kit, so I could still use my F mount lenses. THIS THING IS AWESOME!!! All the features of my old D7100, but full frame, smaller, lighter, and quieter. The clarity and ease of use is impressive. The pivot, touch screen display is solid and responsive. At first, I wasn’t sure if I’d like the electronic viewfinder, but it is exceptionally clear and sharp. Having worked with video cameras before, it was no different than a video viewfinder. The ability to preview the final shot comes in very handy. At first, I thought the rear control wheel seemed a little stiff, but quickly realized it prevents you from inadvertently changing settings. If you are looking for your first prosumer camera, or like me, forced to migrate from DSLR, I highly recommend the Z5! ... show more

The Nikon Z5 is an entry-level full-frame mirrorless camera
Review Image by debduca
The Nikon Z5 is capable of excellent image quality whether shooting Raw or JPEG. Raw files provide impressive detail capture and good noise performance. Autofocus performance from the Z5 is quite good, whether shooting moving or static subjects. But video performance is not the camera's strong suit. For those migrating over from F-mount, previously unstabilized glass – mounted via Nikon's FTZ adapter – suddenly feels way steadier thanks to the in-body stabilization. And Nikon says the Z5's IS system can reduce shake by up to five stops (CIPA standard. The Nikon Z5 is arguably the best bang-for-your-buck stills-oriented camera on the market, which is why it's earns our gold award. ... show more

Amazing deal when I got it!
Color: Obsidian
Amazing deal when I got it for 1,199! The accessories are cheap, but get you going if you don't have any. The tripod sucks and broke before I even got to use it, you can't tighten the ball head enough before the base snaps off and the Z5 isn't a light camera so it needs to be able to clamp tight for still pictures!! ... show more

Coming from a Nikon d5200 this z5 is an insane upgrade! I like that it has everything you need to get going and a great quality bag to keep it all in. The gimbal is amazing as well.

Missing items on initial delivery
Color: Jet-black
Just got half of the advertised bundle delivered. The seller has contacted me to say they other half (all editing software, cleaning kits and card wallet) will ship in the next day or so. The camera &lens seems nice but no expert. The rest of the items are just kinda cheap stuff. That said the camera and lens alone cost more then I paid for the whole kit. If the rest of the items show up I will update review to 5 stars. ... show more
