I have seen many bad reviews on this product but haven't experienced any of the issues. The touch works well with no false activations or glances turning it on. The light levels are set well with dim being just enuf to see or read under without being obnoxious, and bright lighting the room well. The bulb with it doesn't flicker or dye from prolonged use. The USB charges my phone and watch well, although I never charge them at the same time. The larger size wich i boaght is perfect for my bedside. The assembly is attach shade/bulb, plug and use. Lastly the appearance has even gotten me compliments from guests. Summery: good product with a good price.

When I saw the box delivered, I thought maybe they are dropping off one lamp today and another tomorrow. Nope! 2 lamps are in the box. I took them out immediately and started following the instructions. It says to velcro the lamp shade together. I was looking for velcro but it's on the ends of the lamp shade. This is not your typical sturdy, plastic lamp shade. No, no, no. It has a plastic coating inside but not sturdy. I don't recommend velcroing the lamp shade first. You have to clamp the top part (clips are attached to the lamp shade, to the metal square included. If you don't have the velcro right, you will have to unclip everything off of the metal square. They are very snug and you have to be gentle to take them off. Surprisingly, I was able to get them off without breaking any. I always mess things up. That's why my husband doesn't allow me to do projects alone. Start at the corner and start clipping around the edges. When you get to the last corner, then velcro. Then you have to screw off a ring around the lamp where you put the bulb. Be careful to just unscrew the ring. The base will turn, too, if you don't hold the top and unscrew the ring (yep, I did that.) Be sure to put the bottom part on in a way that it looks like a roof. Again, I'm not allowed to do projects alone and I did the opposite. Had to unclip it again. I put the metal part back on the base and then tightened the ring over it. I put the light bulb in (yeah, even I can do that) and plugged it in. You can touch anywhere on the lamp and it lights. I stepped back to look and admire my accomplishment of putting the lamps together and realized the lamp looked crooked. It wasn't me. I didn't do anything wrong, I swear! I held onto the lamp on each side and just gave it a little push to even it out and it seemed to work. I know if my husband was here trying to put them together, he'd be complaining about how cheap they are made and I get what I paid for. Yes, they are cheaply made, but I love a bargain. They are going in the bedroom, so it's not like there is going to be a lot of traffic in there. The picture does look very classy/elegant, but trust me, it's definitely not the same. I would recommend them if you have a spare bedroom and don't want to pay a lot, for a college dorm or a room that you really don't want to impress anyone with. If you bought them, I hope you like them. I just have to say mezza mezza (I'm not Italian, I just like the saying.) Updated my review to a 5 because the company reached out to me regarding the bases of the lamps and sent replacement lamps. Thank you very much and it is greatly appreciated. When a company like this reaches out and is very kind, they are very reputable. I would recommend buying these and other lamps that this company sells. Thank you.

These are cute and make my home desk look more "officey". I bought the 22". It looks taller in the picture. The way they packed it for shipping was a work of art. Pretty cool! I got the light grey shade. That too was a little different than the photo. It comes with dimmable bulbs. The shades will show a round glow on the outside, where the bulbs are located, when the light is turned on. I've never seen a shade do that. Possibly they are thinner than most? It doesn't affect the performance in any way, but to me, I don't care for the way that looks. (not a deal breaker though)....There are usb ports at the base. Thats a cool and convenient feature. Even though my expectations were let down a little, I still think they are unique and add a nice touch for the price.

The base is very light weight, which makes them easy to knock over. The touch base sometimes takes a couple of taps before they turn on or go to the next brightness level. Looks and feels cheap.
