  • Very bright light 👍
Size: 18 - 24 in
Worked great for growing my hardy corals

  • Illuminate Your Aquarium Brilliantly without Breaking the Bank
Size: 18 - 24 in
The NICREW ClassicLED Marine Aquarium Light is praised for its bright lighting, easy setup, and budget-friendly price. It features 445nm and 460nm blue, 10,000K white, and RGB LEDs, creating an ideal color combination for the saltwater environment. The light comes with a dual-channel timer to adjust the lighting spectrum, simulating a gradual sunrise and sunset. The product supports a variety of marine life, including saltwater fish, live rock, soft coral, and LPS corals. It's available in multiple sizes with extendable brackets, making it suitable for both rimless and framed aquariums. A glass or acrylic canopy is highly recommended to extend the life of the unit by preventing moisture from affecting it. Users noted the light's incredible brightness, with one commenting, "Everything in my tank is glowing." Another stated that the setup was straightforward and the light selection perfect. The product's timer function, though yet untested by some customers, is also viewed positively. Some users, however, mentioned that the light needs to be sealed to prevent moisture from getting in, and that if power goes out, the timer needs to be reset. But despite these minor inconveniences, most customers feel the product is worth the price. It's also worth noting that the product has been positively reviewed by customers outside the U.S., particularly in Canada. Canadian users found the product worth the price and praised its brightness and sunrise/sunset features. Overall, the NICREW ClassicLED Marine Aquarium Light is a highly recommended product for those looking for quality aquarium lighting at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • Good light
Size: 18 - 24 in
I think it’s a good light. I really like the timer feature. I had it for a little over a week. So only time will tell. Instructions are a little hard to follow.

  • Great functions
Size: 30 - 36 in
So this is a great light as far as functionality. I allows you to set a timer, the I intensity of the LED on different channels and even has a sunrise and sunset option. However, if you loose power, the time is reset. In my recent experience, the other configurations were not lost. Not sure why time needs reset but the rest of my configuration was good. This has great configuration options. It’s pretty customizable for the price. Make sure you read the short instructions ahead of time so you understand the codes and the button presses. The white LED is not exactly a high white. The white alone without the blue is really ugly. I always have the blue on with the white. I actually lower the white intensity a little to about 50% to give the tank a little more blue throughout the day. I did notice the white channel has some green spectrum mixed in which might cause this. The white and blue are on different channels so you can have a timer for the white and a separate timer for the blue with different intensities. My favorite part is the sun up and sun down uptown. There is a setting to turn on the lights fully, or use the sunrise-sunset option. Sunrise and sunset each are hardest to 15 minutes. My setup turns on white at 50% intensity and blue at 100% intensity late morning. The white fades off early evening for an all blue moonlight and then a couple hours later, the blue fades off to night. I would buy again at this price. I would also request the manufacturer to put brighter white LEDs for a better white color. ... show more

  • Lights up my 20gl tank
Size: 18 - 24 in
The media could not be loaded. PROS: well described as shown and loving it.. CONS: at first it was hard to set the timer and plastic led cover very flimsy, so i silicone the sides so water or vapors dont get in

  • great budget option for reefs
Size: 24 - 30 in
bright enough and good color range for soft corals and maybe for LPS too. Timer has white and blue channels. Heatsink works very well, it stays very cool to the touch. Wish it got just a bit dimmer during the timer dimming mode (which automatically dims the lights over 15 minutes) as the lowest brightness setting is still fairly bright so it is kind of a shock between the 1% light and off, but maybe that is just me since the fish dont seem to mind as they go to their nightly hiding spots well before the lights fully turn off. No wireless connectivity is a bummer, and if the power goes out you have to set your clock again, but for the price it works well. ... show more

  • Not too bad for the money
Size: 36 - 48 in
Definitely made my tank colors pop. Without the timer there are 3 light modes. Morning/day, midday, and night. When you use the timer it only allows you to use midday and night for some reason. Kind of a bummer. Not sure why theres 3 options if you can only use two. Received my light and it worked as it should. Obviously came refurbished. Contacted seller they responded very quickly. But seemed to believe it was shipping damage. Tried to make it very clear the box was in great shape. The light had minor scratches or finger prints. And the top had a very small chip in it. Requested to have a partial refund and never heard anything back. The light works great though. Just bummed it wasnt “brand new”. For beginners this light seems worth the money so far. Definitely make sure you have a glass lid, avoid as much moisture getting on this light as you can. If you have the money recommend getting the fluval 3.0 marine. On a budget like myself, this light definitely will do just fine. ... show more
