Although I have only had this a few days I am extremely pleased with this 100 watt heater. I have had fish tanks many many years and have had countless heaters fail. The most recent failure came from my expensive Fluval lasting only 1 year. It started running hot and ran water temp over 84 degrees. Stupid temp control knob stopped working and could not set temp. Way to go Fluval. This Nicrew heater (1/3 cost of Fluval heater) eliminates the temp control and has water at exactly 78 degrees. This type heater will now be my go to style as it eliminates a manual temp control knob. I just hope this thing will last. Great design tecnology. A+ ... show more
