I have 3 tanks. One is a 75 gallon paludarium, with about 30 gallons in it and tons of plants, above water, in water. I have two Fluval Plant lights on it. They’re my all time favorite but they were like $150+ each! You can control every single teeny aspect of those lights with your phone. But you pay the price for that. BUT for my two 10 gallons, this nicrew 24/7 is great. I’ve used many different lights and this is by far the easiest and best. The plants love it, the 24 hour pre-programmed setting keeps algae at bay, and best of all, if the power goes out, you just need to hit the closest time button on the remote and it’s back to normal. My other lights had this clunky box that is a huge pain to set the time on. And it has to be done every time our power flickers - which is often for us! This light has a gentle sunrise with warm light, gets bright for a few hours and a nice cool blue moonlight at night before it turns off. I’d recommend this one for a budget-friendly option for any size tank. ... show more

The C10 led is pretty neat. I've been using it for about a month now and have no complaints. The preset modes are useful, especially the moonlight deep blue one - my fish really seem to like that (maybe its because they can see me better at night?). It's also nice to be able to adjust the brightness of each individual LED to make sure you get just the right lighting for your tank. I have a few low light plants in mine, and they seem to be doing well under this light. I did notice that the 24/7 cycle feature is a bit finicky - sometimes it seems like it doesn't transition between colors as smoothly as it should. But overall, it's still a great addition to my aquarium setup. I've also had some fun experimenting with the custom 24/7 cycle feature, trying out different color combinations and intensities (I even made one that simulates a sunset over the ocean - pretty cool). ... show more

The new one I purchased is for a new larger 75 gallon tank, the 24 hour dusk to dawn automatic feature is unbelievable, ease of programming is simple, fit is great, led output is strong, perfect for salt water corals, fish, and plant health. I've bought a lot of aquarium plant lights lately. They could be so expensive, so I've been trying to find high quality lights at a reasonable price. These lights are by far my favorite. I love the 24-hour cycle, remote control, can't control brightness, fits my 10 gallon aquarium perfectly. I have it heavily planted, so I bought two lights. It's awesome because one remote will work both lights. Doesn't matter which remote. Makes syncing them up very easy ... show more

These work amazing. They are sleek, made of metal and have been on for about a year now with no problems. My tank is growing like crazy. I actually have to take plants out. They work so good. 1 remote will work for both. Love the auto dimming.

The florescent lights I've used in the past are garbage. They burn out and I've tried replacing the bulbs, only to have the new bulbs burn out in a month or so. So this time I decided to go with this LED light, and I'm so glad I did. The actual bulbs are encased so I think they'll last a lot longer because water can't get to the bulbs. Plus, the LED lights are programmable where you can set them to turn on slowly with different lighting effects from morning through the evening. My fish actually seems more active and happier with these lights. I'd buy this light again if I need another light in the future. Highly recommend! ... show more
