So far, so good. I've had the lights up for about two and a half weeks, and we got some really heavy rains for days on end, and so far everything is looking great and weatherproof. I hope this continues to hold true. I was really happy to see how nicely these lights were packaged, in a little foam holder that kept all the bulbs safe. They are glass, so they will break! I kept the package so I can store it over the winter. When you put these up, it seems like it'd be a real PITA to put 100 bulbs in, but it actually goes very fast. I love how they look. The media could not be loaded. This string of bulbs are perfect for a long distance span or using with light poles. I had a set that we used to hang from the privacy fence. They were heavy. Too heavy to be used on light poles or really anything that wasn’t a fixed structure. These, however, are awesome for stringing from one end of the yard to the next. They are light enough to use poles too. I have aircraft wire stung from one tree to another-almost 100ft apart. I have a couple freestanding light poles in the middle for added support. I used the clips on the lights to create a swag effect every few lights and this helps secure them to the wire for added stability. These lights have been up through wind, rain and now snow. They’ve been a champion through everything mother nature could throw at her. It most instances I would opt for the heavier duty piece of equipment, but in the instance of string lighting-that’s not always better. These lighter, but strong, lights are absolutely perfect. I love the warm glow they cast over the yard too. It lights up the landscaping from above and allows us to enjoy being outdoors in the evenings safely. ... show more

Lights are quite nice. Perfect dim lit just enough to see without being too bright giving a lovely ambient feel. Gave a 4 star because I wasnt aware they were glass bulbs while removing from box one light fell to floor and broke however it does come with 1 spare bulb thankfully so be careful when unpacking. ... show more

Bought 3 strings and placed them around the different gazebo’s loved the way the concerted to each other. They could have been just a little brighter. The party went on without a problem.
