We charged up a 1993 Lincoln Towncar with a DEAD battery in 5 seconds. It started immediately. It was too far for an extension cord to reach. This will be great in bad weather. I'm uneasy with electric cords and devices sitting in pouring rain.... We expected the device to be drained, and need a full recharge after we used it, but the lights on it indicated it was ready to use again. So much lighter and more portable than the huge battery charger. It only charges via USB [don't like that] but we had an AC/DC converter to plug it into an outlet. Worked great! Didn’t think I would use this much but it’s great for testing any electronics for cars without having to plug it into the car. This thing saved me a few times where I parked into a spot front forward, left my headlights on by accident, started pushing the car out and trying to find someone to jump my car with but then I remember I have this thing in the spare tire well. Way faster and easier than jumping a car. Just hook it up to the battery and it automatically starts jumping it. Works like a charm ... show more

I have a 04 Chevy Suburban that has had a dead battery, that didn't even make the dreaded click noise, for the last 2weeks in this 20 degree weather. I ordered the 4000amp model and it worked perfectly right out of the box. Hooked it to the battery and after about 3-5 seconds the indicator light switched from blue to green and it started a completly dead battery in the first try. This was a great product that I was sceptical about starting a 5.4 V8 being such a small unit but it worked as advertised and the charge didn't even go down. I am so glad I was told about this product! My car battery had been dying and usually I’m always a damsel in distress…..no one around to give me a jump, waiting forever on Triple A, etc….and then I get this booster!!! OMG!!! When I tell you this has saved me and changed my life! I was on my way to work one morning. It’s 4am. Get out to my car, battery dead.
