I was fortunate enough to not have a chance to use this device to jump start a car. But I have used this few times as a battery source to power up my tire inflator that connects to a cigarette light socket. It was annoying to connect my tire inflator to car's cigarette light socket and run the engine while using it. With this, since it does have the DC to cigarette light socket adapter, I just connect my tire inflator to this and it's so portable and convenient. And only about 6% of battery power was consumed to run my tire inflator to add some air to all 4 tires. I had this in my car for several months including hot summer, and it was fine and didn't loose any charges. The USB charging port is handy too for charging phones. One time I forgot to bring a battery bank and my phone's battery was running low and I had to take more photos and videos. I just took this out of my car and used it as a battery bank and it worked great though it was bit big and heavy as a battery bank for a phone to carry around. Overall, I am pretty happy with this product. I'm just waiting for it to go on sale again so that I can get another one for my other car. Most of the jump starter batteries do not include the DC to cigarette light socket adapter, but this does and that's probably the best part for me and that's why I am waiting for this to go on sale instead of getting others which most don't include this adapter. The case is pretty nice too. It's sturdy enough and keep everything in it nice and safe instead of me trying to use some plastic bag to put all the parts in it.

I got two of these units. One for myself and shortly after, one for my Dad. They are amazing little jumpers and very powerful however, there are two things I have/ had an issue with. One, involving both units, the time you have from the time you hook it up to the time you have to turn the key before it goes into safety or whatever its doing is insanely short, like under 3 seconds. So, if you are under your hood, likely you will struggle to get to the key before it shuts off. I have a message into the seller about this as I hoped it was just one of the boxes, but both do it. You then have to unplug the harness out of the box and plug it back in to reset it. Its very annoying. So its 5 stars when you can do it by yourself, 2 when you cant and need to find help! The second issue I had was charging. I was jumping a friends 4 cyl. inboard boat and the charger got really hot and died on us, and rather quickly. We jumped it 5 or 6 times within 10 minutes, starting with a fully charged box from the night before. Two days later I still could not get the charger to charge. Only the first light would flash out of the 4 and it would never get to the 2nd light showing its in the process of charging. I contacted the seller and they recommended a larger 18W charger. I was using a 12W. I also tried a 5W. I thought, no way this is not the problem, but it was. So, be sure you have at least an 18W wall charger to go with it. I charged mine 4 or 5 times on the 12 without issue, but never let it completely die as I did the last time. If it had more time from hook up to start I'd give it 5 stars. And, I wish you could use it without a battery, like to trim an outboard up on a boat that has no battery in it. ALSO, if the battery is really dead, it will not power anything either to give you accessory power, instead It immediately shuts off. But, Overall it is a great little charger. Crazy amount of power! Super compact and fits easily anywhere.

This is my 8th one that I purchased. I have them in all my cars and have used them a lot. Great to have in a time of need. Highly recommended! My oldest one is over 4yrs old and has no problems. Keeps on going…. Battery life is great and maintains for months! The use is simple very basic which is great when you’re not a mechanic . The case keeps it safe and looking New!! Just connect and start the car! I’ve also used while camping to charge my devices.

This is our 2nd so know we can keep one in each car ... because of course when we needed to use it we forgot to move it to the car we were traveling in. Oops They're small convenient and have a nice little case. I'm never fond of jump starting car to car (because we've seen what people are capable of) this takes some of that away ... Its pretty easy to use and we can bring it on the boat too (hey things happen ... music, plugging in your device to charge - which this can be used for that too I've read) It was a great value with the discount that was available at the time so we were able to get an upgraded one on this purchase vs our 1st one.
