PROS Works as advertised, makes 9 thimble sized pellets of ice every 10 minutes or so, doesnt leak, runs pretty quietly except when it moves the ice into the storage bin, stops when holding bin is full. CONS. Not good to.use in a small room in summer. This is basically a heat pump type of refrigeration unit. Which means that it moves the heat out of the water to make ice and into the room air surrounding it. I bought it to use in my 25 ft mobile home and it works.. makes ice but it does heat up the area around it. So i get cool drinks in a warm room sort of a wash. This unit would probably work really well in a large kitchen or office or outdoors but not practical in a small living space in hot weather.

This ice machine works pretty well. It makes ice very quickly and has two size options. It is easy to use and efficient. My only complaint is that I seem to have to reset it every couple of days because it stops making ice even though the basket is empty and the water level is sufficient. Otherwise, a really great product.

It will pay for itself quickly. I use about 5-10 pounds of ice a day in the summer. In one month I saved enough, by not having to buy ice, to pay for it. Word of advice, let it run until the red light comes on. The ice does not melt as quickly and is easy to dump. I do wish the scoop was bigger. The picture shows cleaning mode.

This thing is no joke. I have one in our RV and one at work. Put water into it and you have good ice in minutes. No bulky ice bags for ice and waiting on the refrigerator to make those little ice cubes. This thing works like a champ. If you start this thing up as you pull into a RV site, by the time you get everything set up you most likely will have a full thing of ice. That's when we put the ice in a Tupperware bowl and put in freezer and make more. You won't be disappointed.

Bought mine in March, worked great, perfect size, easy to use, and then suddenly today it stopped working ☹️ 4'ish months and today it started making a loud noise, no ice, fan not blowing and the sides were really hot. We immediately unplugged it. hubby checked around inside, it looks like maybe the compressor is what went out. Now I have to find another alternative.

This is a nice ice maker. Starts making the first batch within 15 minutes. It’s loud and runs non stop though. I used to have a large one (I assume the ice box stayed cold) so I didn’t have the issue of it just melting so quick. It melts as fast as it makes ice so it just runs non stop. My electric bill raised about $40 and I could not figure out why for a couple months since my previous one didn’t raise my bill. I started bagging the ice once it was full and unplugging and just running for 2 hours when I needed more and unplugging again. If you leave it plugged in it just makes and melts literally 24/7 and costs more than buying bags of ice. I wanted to save freezer space by having this but I’m just storing ice now anyway. I love the size and shape of the cubes though but I wish I would have known beforehand.
