Worse buy ever !

⭐ 1 STAR — FOUR MONTHS AND IT’S DEAD! SAVE YOUR MONEY! This purchase has been an absolute disappointment. I purchased this ice maker through Amazon, and after only FOUR MONTHS, it started making an extremely loud noise and then completely stopped making ice. Four months?! An appliance like this should last for YEARS—not become useless after a few months of normal use. To make matters worse, I contacted Amazon for assistance and was told there was nothing they could do and that they didn’t have contact information for the manufacturer. Excuse me?! This seriously had to be a joke. How is a product being sold through Amazon, but when it stops working after only four months, there’s supposedly no manufacturer contact information available to help resolve the issue? So now I’m left with an ice maker that doesn’t make ice, no manufacturer information to pursue assistance, and apparently no resolution through Amazon. The machine worked fine at first, but clearly that didn’t last. Four months of use is absolutely unacceptable for the amount of money spent. I guess you said it will only work for 4 months for $50.00. Don’t buy this piece of junk, If you’re considering purchasing this ice maker, I strongly suggest doing your research and making sure you can actually reach the manufacturer if something goes wrong. Cold drink

Easy to use and not very noisy. Does take a little while to fill large coolers but it is most definitely better than purchasing ice from store and i get to choose what size ice cubes I want. Wished I had purchased before now.

Works pretty well

PROS Works as advertised, makes 9 thimble sized pellets of ice every 10 minutes or so, doesnt leak, runs pretty quietly except when it moves the ice into the storage bin, stops when holding bin is full. CONS. Not good to.use in a small room in summer. This is basically a heat pump type of refrigeration unit. Which means that it moves the heat out of the water to make ice and into the room air surrounding it. I bought it to use in my 25 ft mobile home and it works.. makes ice but it does heat up the area around it. So i get cool drinks in a warm room sort of a wash. This unit would probably work really well in a large kitchen or office or outdoors but not practical in a small living space in hot weather. ... show more

Good quality, good value, quick ice making

This ice machine works pretty well. It makes ice very quickly and has two size options. It is easy to use and efficient. My only complaint is that I seem to have to reset it every couple of days because it stops making ice even though the basket is empty and the water level is sufficient. Bought as a gift for mother she been getting different trays for ice to fit her water bottles n can’t seem to get the right ones n takes up room in her freezer always having to take out to put food in them don’t got ice or gas to wait hours for trays to freeze. Stopped working after about a month & manufacturer won’t do anything about it

The machine worked fine for the first few weeks, but then started having issues around the return window, but I figured maybe it was just user error and tried to give it some time to let it work itself out or see if I could do anything to help fix the problem. By time I reached out for support the return window had just closed and they told me I needed to reach out to the manufacturer and I’ve gone back-and-forth with them over and over and over and they keep giving me the exact same response. They’re just saying that the issues I’m having with the machine is just how the machine works and there’s nothing wrong with it even though I’ve tried to explain explaining that I’ve seen it work properly when it first arrived and that I know it’s not functioning correctly currently but they’re acting like it’s working just fine and functioning as intended so they’re not going to do anything about it. They keep saying that ice melting is normal as there is no freezing function and that you have to remove ice from the machine in order for it to keep producing and not melt… even when I try doing this (which defeats the purpose of an ice machine. If I wanted ice in my freezer, I would just continue buying bagged ice lol) the machine still gets stuck and will melt everything in the machine or just not work like it will stop producing ice and I have to manually reset the whole thing but manufacturer won’t work with me to get it replaced or anything. I really enjoyed it while it was functional but unfortunately, wouldn’t advise anyone to waste money on this ... show more
