I was really disappointed when my freezer stopped making ice. I saw this portable Ice Maker and decided to try it. I've only had it for a few days, but so far, I love it. Ice is made really quickly. The cube size is adequate and it keeps my beverage ice cold! Well worth the cost. Note, however, that the Icemaker doesn't have a freezer component, so the ice will start to melt if you leave it sitting in its basket. The little basket fills up pretty quickly, and the unit will stop until the ice is removed (or melts back into the water reservoir). I just keep transferring it to my freezer's ice storage bin and then dispense the ice from the refrigerator ice dispenser. Works perfectly!

great, but there is like 0 difference between small and large for ice, really quiet, it doesn't make a lot of ice at once, doesn't stockpile enough ice ngl, great price compared to what they cost in the past! ice is great to just suck on (gf said this one)

This ice maker works exactly as described and better. I can't seem to keep up with the amount of ice it makes. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my mom but unfortunately she never got a chance to see it because she passed unexpectedly on 12/15, the days prior to it's arrival. She would have loved it for the size of the ice and the rate that it creates the ice. She also would have loved the fact that she could easily move it from the kitchen to her backyard patio, to her bedroom AMD back to the kitchen again.

Don't expect commercial quantity production. But this will keep a small party in ice. Add water, start it up and you have ice for one drink under 10 minutes and a full bin in about half an hour or so. Cube size is about extra large nugget and they melt pretty quick, but it sure beats dealing with bags or trays. Operation is relatively quiet. For me it's a great value.
