The second time I tried to use it, it warmed up but no water came out. I left it on for a while, thinking it may need time to work out some residue. I love this steam mop! It was so easy to put together I just wish the cord was longer. By the time I was done mopping the pad was BLACK. Mind you I use a swiffer. My swiffer days are over I will be only steam cleaning from here on out.

I'm appalled by the (3) great ratings! It will get your floors clean, but no better that a $25 Swiffer WetJet style mop and takes much longer. At $80 it's a joke. It's too short for anyone over 5'-8" and liable to leave you with a sore back. The cord is too short and to high gauge (too fat/heavy) to be particularly functional. You constantly have to move from plug to plug and every time you have to wait 30 seconds for the steam to fully activate. Because of the weight of the cable, there is no way to keep it our of you way, and every time you change wall plugs the entire mop fall hard on the floor. It won't stand with the weight of the cable. There is no quick release for the cord, so it has to be unwound for every use. I don't like the capacity of the tank or that the tank is not removeable. It's less convenient to fill and very difficult to drain. Carpet cleaner!? I despise false advertising. Just call it a floor mop. ... show more

This is my first steam mop and I have no complaints! My arm starts feeling sore because the wet microfiber is a little stubborn to push but I’m glad it has good contact with the floor. The microfiber cloth was completely brown after the first use. It absolutely cleans and I think it’s much more effective than a swiffer. It’s also gentle since it only uses water and the high heat disinfects. It’s incredibly easy to set up and use. Make sure to push the power button completely down when turning on.
