First of all, this is a BUDGET beverage refrigerator under $200. We all know we get what we pay for...People who want an automatic light and a whisper quiet motor need to purchase a more expensive model. That being said, for less than $200 this refrigerator is a good deal. We liked it so much in fact that we ordered another and were willing to pay $15 more, as we ordered the first one on Prime Day at a lower cost. If you compare this to other models in the same price range, you will find that this one is not lacking in features. If loaded properly, it gets cold and stays cold. (Unlike the Danby model, similarly priced...Those reviews say people actually had to hack into the thermostat and manually change it to get a cool temp.) This refrigerator is not what I would consider noisy. Occasionally you can hear the motor running, but it is barely noticeable. (Our Bosch dishwasher is 3x as loud as this refrigerator. As I type this review, I am 10 feet away from the refrigerator and it is silent.) The shelves are sturdy. *I compared this model with the next pricier model and the only difference I could see was that the $250 refrigerator has many good reviews and 5 shelves while this model has 4 shelves. This model works fine for my needs with only 4 shelves. Yes, the shelves are metal, but one would expect that in this price range. The front 'legs' of the refrigerator are adjustable to obtain perfect leveling. It doesn't bother me that the light switch must be turned on and off manually...The switch is conveniently located and it's easy to turn on and off. For this price, it isn't a deal-breaker. (And for the reviewer who was upset about this...The light mechanism is clearly described in the product information.) I did not have any problems registering the product like one of the reviewers had. The model was listed on the website and the whole process took 90 seconds. (I will say that you need to upload a JPEG file of the receipt. I initially took a screenshot of my Amazon receipt and tried to upload the screenshot, but it wasn't JPEG. I took a picture of the receipt and uploaded that, instead.) I will update this review if we have any problems, but I couldn't find a better value and look for the price. If this product stops functioning after the warranty expires, I will consider purchasing a model in a different price range...But for less than $400 we got two decent looking, well-functioning beverage refrigerators. ... show more

We’ve had this refrigerator for about a month, and here are my thoughts about it: It holds a lot of drinks! - We keep bottled water, beer, wine, sodas, juices, and iced coffees in the unit and everything fits great Small footprint - The refrigerator stays in the corner of our dining room and takes up little space Chills drinks ice cold - The unit has settings from 1-7. I honestly don’t know why settings 1-3 exist unless you want your drinks 60 degrees. Setting 6 gets our drinks down to 39 degrees and 7 starts to freeze them. You wouldn’t get the same performance if you kept this little guy outside or in the garage, but it works perfectly in a climate controlled space Makes some (acceptable) noise - This really shouldn’t surprise folks, but a refrigerator needs to run a compressor to operate. It runs a lot, but I wouldn’t say it’s louder than your main fridge. Doesn’t bother me at all. Looks nice and seems to be well made - This is a good looking unit and still looks new after a month. Has nice seals, adjustable feet (in the front), adjustable shelves and a good looking glass door. The LED light gives an option to light your fridge up, but it’s an on/off switch, not door activated. I bought this for my dry bar. It’s under a counter top. I have read several reviews about how loud this unit was. I did not plug the fridge in for about two weeks after I got it because I was still finishing the bar. The manufacturer recommends you wait a day to plug it in. Honestly when I finally plug it in I couldn’t hear it running. I thought it was broken it was so quiet. The only way I new it was running was because the back panel inside the fridge started getting cold. I left it on the coldest setting (7) and my water bottles all froze. So it definitely gets cold. I have it running for about two weeks now and I am very happy with it. Would recommend it. ... show more

Bought this for our beverages like beer, pop, energy/protein drinks & am very happy with my purchase! It has an interior light that stays on all the time & lights up the drinks in a really cool way ( I would describe it as almost a glow) It came with almost too many shelves which is good for a variety of situations & sizes of beverages but we will most likely have to take out a few of them so beer bottles can stand up... It was super easy to set up, just plug it in & begin cooling right away! The only very small downside (which is with most things on Amazon) is that it almost came with too much packaging. But I'd much rather have that than have a broken item (which has also happened with Amazon) so, pick your poison haha 😂 ... show more

I'm kinda shocked at how this product is even being sold. It's absolutely awful. It's terribly noisy and you can hear it from the other side of the room. It barely cools, so getting your drinks below 50 degrees is a no-go. There is no fan in the unit so temperatures at the bottom are way different from the top of the unit. Lots of condensation forms on the glass door even when it's shut. Frost build-up up inside very quickly too. The shelves are also extremely misaligned and can collapse when shift more cans to the front. The cheap plastic door handle has fallen off twice already. The worst part is a smokey chemical smell that emits when it's turned on overnight, the plastic interior seems like it's melted as well. I'm not going to risk this piece of garbage. ... show more

We purchased this NewAir NBC126SS02 Beverage Refrigerator and Cooler to replace our older and outdated compact refrigerator. We wanted a small refrigerator without the small freezer compartment, which we would rarely, if ever use. So far, we are very pleased with this unit. It arrived safely, without any dents, scrapes, etc. primarily due to the fact that the manufacture has taken great care in designing its packaging. We unpackaged the unit and allowed it to sit for 24 hours before plugging it in, to allow the units refrigeration unit to settle, which is very important. This fridge can fit anywhere between 24 - 30 bottles of wine, depending on how you choose to stack them. So far, I am very happy with it, despite my 3 star review. Here's my take on it: Pros: - Affordable and seems to work well - Gets very cold with no apparent cold spots, as far as I can tell so far. That may change if I turn the temperature down very cold for prolonged periods of time, though. Cons: - No temperature gauge or readout. Just a number dial ranging from 0 - 7, with wine storage temperatures being optimized at close to a 1. Instruction manual does not correlate approximate temperatures to power settings. - Not specifically designed for wine. Bottles roll around freely on flat metal racks before finally settling into place, with some room to spare -- just not enough room to properly fit another bottle of wine - Will not fit magnums or larger sized bottles of wine sideways without sacrificing significant storage space - rack positions waste space when storing wine instead of cans of soda. If the manufacturer just made some very minor adjustments and a slight increase in size, you could fit a lot more wine into this thing. - LED light is manually switched on and off instead of on when the door is open. The light is also weak, center-mounted, and a cheap purple-y / bluish hue. - The unit makes gurgling liquid noises. Not entirely sure why. ... show more
