The media could not be loaded. If you've been to amusement parks, fairs or visiting circuses, there's a chance you've seen the "Zoltar Speaks" fortune-telling machine in person. Maybe you've even thrown a few pennies into the gypsy and gotten a written prophecy in return. Or maybe you've seen the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks (in which was Zoltar's dark cousin - he granted wishes) - then you know what to expect from a replica from New Wave Toys. Reduce your imagination on a scale of 1 to 6 and here it is - a mini Zoltar. Since Centipede (Replicade), I've been a fan of these miniatures. Up until now, I've only collected scaled-down arcade machines - but seeing this little masterpiece, I couldn't resist buying another one. This time, it's not wood and metal - it's plastic, but it feels solid. Zoltar Speaks is made very aesthetically, only a pedant will cling to the specks of dust stuck to the plastic windows, or the tassels of the golden curtains twisted by electrostatic charge. Zoltar speaks, moves his eyes, mouth, head and hand, which moves just above the luminous ball and reads what fate has prepared for you. All you need to do is insert one of the eight micro coins that come with Zoltar (look at the photo with the coins - this coin acceptor really works) or press the free vision button - on the right side of the booth - and the gypsy will start talking, and when he finishes, a ticket with a prediction will slide out of the feeder. The machine works in three modes: OFF/IR/ATT. The first one starts predictions only after inserting a coin or pressing the side button. The second one starts the infra red demo mode, encouraging you to withdraw a few pennies for predictions. The third one starts Zoltar's regularly every 5 minutes. The whole thing is powered by batteries that you can charge (USB C). I don't know about you - for me it's the perfect complement to mini machines from New Wave Toys. If you snag the 55 tickets that should be inside "Zoltar Speaks", I hope the extra prophecy rolls will be available for purchase one day.

The media could not be loaded. This is really amazing collectors piece for Big fans. It was beautifully packaged and is the coolest mini version of the original. I busted it out at my daughter’s birthday party, and everyone (no matter what age) loved it. The writing on the fortunes is small, so for some people it was challenging to read. It comes with 50 fortunes, and after the fun we had at the party, I’m sure I will be ordering more soon.
