Great setup

I use these to monitor the 3 furnaces we have at our business. One probe reads intake/return air temp and the other probe reads the conditioned air so I can tell at a glance if anything is amiss with heating or air conditioning. I even setup a camera so I can remotely view these displays. We can’t afford any mishaps with heating or cooling at our place of business so this is a very cheap way to help monitor things. The only thing I don’t like is the ridiculous magnet charging cords. Why reinvent the wheel?! Just use a standard plug. It’s impossible to get the plug to stay attached with the magnets to charge. I just wind up using tape to hold it in place. Luckily the batteries last an insanely long time with me using them 24 hours a day the way I’m using them. So far they’ve held up great using them for about 8 months and Counting running them 24/7

So simple to use!! Just the dual temp probes, no timer. This keeps it easy to use. The probes failed after a few uses due to some apparent defect. I went on the company website and wrote them. They sent a whole new unit. I love the fact that they stand behind their product. I will favor this company in future purchases.

No replacement probes

I have used this maybe 3 times since purchased. One of the probes is very, very wrong. There are no replacement probes available. Picture shown of both probes in the same container of cream. One registered 73 and the other 190. Of course it is out of return window.

Magnetic charging, otherwise very nice

Does a great job getting the temp of food. 4 stars because the magnetic charger comes off the back VERY easily. It’s a little tricky trying to get the thing to stay on. I would have preferred USB-C charging that is nice and tight.

Worked at first then quit

I’ve used it for three different times I’ve smoked hams and briskets. And I’ve only had it for two weeks, but now the battery won’t charge. I’ve tried every way to charge it but nothing works. Also the temps was off by a little while cooking. I had to turn it off and on a few times. I’m just going to return it, and get a different thermometer. I can’t take a chance on this messing up one of my times I’m smoking meat again.
