I bought this to replace my old HT-800 believing this model was an improvement. The amount of air it pushes is disappointing. It's going back.

I received my Honeywell Turboforce fan HT900 portable air desk fan yesterday. Did not appear that it came straight from the factory to Amazon. When I opened the box the plastic was half way on the fan and the cord looked like someone had just thrown it back into the box, returned it and then Amazon shipped it back out. I turned on the fan and it appeared to work properly. This is the second small fan I have purchase from Amazon for a small areas. I am hoping this one will be as reliable as the first. The two larger fans of this version from Honeywell fell apart within a year. One came damaged on the base, but I did not opened it to use until the return time had expired. The other popped off on the base within the year of a two week use. Threw them both in the garbage!! $$$ LOST However all that being said, Amazon should keep a better check on Quality Control and do a better job of repacking their items before they ship them out. ... show more
