This table was exactly what I was looking for. It's has an extremely sturdy table top and the flip process is easy for transitioning the little leaves. The chairs are built well, but the cushions are not solid wood underneath so you can not use it to stand on, (in case you have kids that use them to get up in the cabinets;)) Color was a dark grey that went with our new floors. ... show more

I needed a new dining room set, and wanted something that didn't take up too much room, and was the counter height type. Very happy with the appearance, and it was easy to assemble. I'm in my 70s and put it together by myself, though assembling the table was a little heavy for me, but nothing I couldn't handle. The biggest problem I encountered was with the crossbars between the chair legs: one end was at an angle and there didn't seem to be any way to insert them without a gap. I never did get them to fit as they should, but the chair is sturdy and the gap not really noticeable. All in all, an attractive addition to my home, and fairly easy to assemble. ... show more

The table is well made, sturdy, and excellent. Fits well in my small space with one leaf dropped and up against the wall. Chairs have no wobble and only had a few, sturdy bolts to install. I recommend a drill on low power, specifically for the chair assembly as it has wood screws. It was boxed in 3 layers and arrived intact. My table was chipped when it arrived, and the customer service responded promptly and has issued me a new table top. I am beyond excited with the quality of service and did not expect such a quality response, specifically I did not expect a wholly new tabletop. 5 stars ... show more

The bar to hold the leaf was snapped in half, the one chair looks like a cat chewed on it and there was a screw missing from the leaf. Aside from that it was pretty easy to assemble (I did it myself) and fits perfectly and looks nice in my small dining room.

I am pleased with the quality and sturdiness of this counter high table and chairs. It looks good in my kitchen. The chairs are so comfortable and the padding really supports my back. My only concern is that my shins keep hitting the shelve that is installed in the lower part of the table. If I push my chair back, then I am too far from the table while eating. I do not know if the shelve could be removed because it is decorative or if it is part of the structural integrity of the table. I have submitted a question and am awaiting an answer. Love this table! I am very happy with the quality of the table vs. the price. I read a lot of reviews and looked at a lot of highly priced furniture. I went ahead and took a chance on this after reading the reviews. I couldn’t decide between the cherry color and the ebony. I was worried about how the darker stain would look from a “cheap” stand point. I went with ebony based on my black appliances. Super happy. The chairs are sturdy. The packaging was intense. No chance anything was ever gonna get damaged. The delivery guy would have had to literally run it over. Shipping would have been early had it not been a damn blizzard. I disliked the instructions - they were pictures only but not very clear. It took a long time to figure out how to put it together. It was so well boxed it took me an hour to get through all the boxes, but that's a good thing. The set itself is beautiful! Now let me know when you sell the chairs separately. I need two more chairs. I bought two cheap ones that don't match but they will do until you put the chairs for sale online separately. All in all very pleased with the purchase! ... show more
