This table is getting a four star because everything is great very nice design and fits in with the rest of my apartment. But it’s also getting a four star because the piece in the bottom of the table came slightly cracked and the legs had the wrong sides on it so the right leg was marked as left and had me cracking my head for at least 30 mins and also doesn’t have to do with the table but xpo scratched my whole entire wood floor about 30 inches after I told them to just leave it at the front door I’ll handle it I wasn’t home at the time because I was on a business trip but my aunt was home. Xpo did call me 10 mins before arrival and asked if I had a certain place I would like the table and I told them the front door but I guess they ignored my comment . I spoke to a Amazon representative and they gave me a courtesy credit for the scratches on my floor and the slight damage to the table. Other then that it has a great design and fits right in with the rest of the furniture that’s in my apartment.

I assembled this set all by myself. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to, but it wasn’t hard at all. The first chair took an hour because I was figuring it out. The legs and supporting pieces were marked opposite than what they should have been. (Right was left and left was right) It became clear pretty quickly and didn’t hinder my ability to assemble them successfully. The chairs hardware was real bolt/nuts and screws. My universal socket wrench and drill made for quick assembly. After I figured out the first chair, I was able to assemble the rest in 10-15 minutes each. The table unfortunately had those Alan wrench bolts which slowed down assembly, but there was only twelve of them so it wasn’t too bad. Since I was alone, I opted to assemble the table upside down, with the table top, still in its protective packaging, on top of a blanket on the floor. This worked well. The instructions tell you not to tighten all the bolts down until the table is upright and level, but I tightened them all down after all the bolts were in place. After assembly, I set the table upright and removed the packaging. It was perfectly level on the first attempt. Nice set. Pretty and sturdy. Worth the money. Total time to assemble was 3 hrs.

It took me quite a while to decide on what kind of table and chairs I wanted for my breakfast nook. I am very happy with my decision. This set looks perfect and is very comfortable. I love the counter height! So easy to get in and out of. It was packaged very well and arrived much earlier than anticipated. I am a 68 year old woman and it took me 2 hours and 15 minutes to assemble. My husband wasn't home and I was to excited to wait so I did it myself. I am in decent shape and a bit of a DIYer so I am not sure I would recommend doing this by yourself. Certain things were tricky like lifting the table top on to the base and getting it centered right. I highly recommend watching the how-to video that is posted with the description on Amazon. The only negative is that the written instructions are not good. There is no way I would have figured this out without watching the video. I watched it before I purchased the set just to see how difficult it would be to assemble and then I watched it again when the set arrived. I had to refer back to it a few times while assembling the chairs. The table is pretty easy. The first chair took the longest and after that it went pretty quick. Love how it looks!

This table was everything we expected and more! The table itself was easy to put together, took my husband about 30 mins to have the table up and standing! The chairs took most of our time because they require lots of hardware! Everything was super simple to put together. Words of advise... take all parts out and sort them out beforehand. Read directions BEFORE starting, not during! And I can’t stress this enough, TIGHTEN EVERYTHING AT THE END! It states that in the directions and it changed the outcome for sure. My husband had tightened all the bolts on the chairs before standing them up and it was uneven, as soon as I loosened them, the chair evened out, and we tightened them again. Same with the table, we tightened all the legs before putting the top and it would not go on, as soon as we loosened the legs a bit, the top fit in perfectly in place. Gave it four stars because one of the chairs’ base was missing the two predrilled holes for one of the legs, but my husband was able to easily use his drill to make them. Overall, I love walking in to our kitchen and seeing this beautiful table :)

This table set is awesome for me and is very sturdy with a firm build. I do recommend this table if you want something for a small area. The cushions are lighter in person but still looks amazing and comfortable. The assembly was not a good one for me because the left & right front legs as well as the left & right side stretcher pieces to the chair were labeled incorrectly. I was a little upset because I used the wood screws & put a few holes in the chair before I noticed that ALL of them were mislabeled. I was in a few different furniture stores last month & noticed this table but found it on Amazon for a way better price. My table had a few scratches because the box was torn smithereens during delivery. Overall, I'm pleased and would recommend this table.
