Description

How to start the NCS6800A chainsaw? 1) Correct Fuel-Oil Mix Ratio for 25:1, then prime bulb 6‑8 times until fuel is visible. 2) Choke on full 3‑4 times – it will "pop" or try to fire. 3) Push choke to half. 4) Pull 1‑2 times – it starts. How to restart if no spark? 1) Check the Spark Plug & Switch: If it is wet with fuel, covered in black carbon, or fouled, clean and dry, or replace it. 2) Check the Ignition Lead: Inspect the ignition lead (wire) for any severe chafing, cracks. 3) Conduct a Safe Spark Test. How to adjust if the chain is not working properly? Check chain tension before every use. A loose chain can derail or kick back. The side tensioner is easy, but always loosen the bar nuts slightly before turning it. After tensioning, tighten the nuts.

$199 I don't see how you can beat it
I've ran 5-6 tanks of fuel thru it and so far, so good. It starts easy, runs great, a little heavy but not bad. Seems to be pretty good build quality and for $199 I don't see how you can beat it, good value. As for the 68cc I highly doubt it, has about the torque as my Husqvarna 455 Rancher, but still a really good saw. For the break in/first tank of fuel I ran a ratio of 10:1 but that's just me. Bar oil is too thick I had to use 10w-40 o biggie tho. ... show more

Great saw
The saw is a beast. Start as easy as my stihl saws and sounds like a dirt bike. Cuts absolutely fabulous. One of the best buys I've done in a while. I've only had it for a few weeks so we'll see if it holds to time

The Neo tech 6800 chainsaw works right out of the box!
This neo tech 6800 24” chainsaw is a workhorse and it started after I mixed the fuel and put the chain bar oil in. It started the second pull and cut right through a 22” thick tree very quickly. Won’t know till I cut wood next weekend but as far as looks go it is awesome …once package was delivered I assembled and getting it started for the 1st time took about 15 mins … but it fired up and sounded great…. I have a big 450 rancher made buy another orange brand and as far as lookes go this thing compares to the 500 dollar ones ... show more
