    • Unsafe and not as described
The one complaint I have with this crate, to me, is most important. The grid floor is not sturdy, and falls down. My puppy gets her legs stuck and it has injured her in the process. Also, this allows her to grab the pee pad on the tray under the grid floor, which can cause intestinal blockage. I purchased this product to help with potty accident control and safety. This product provides neither for us. Unfortunately this product just isn't safe. I feel i have wasted my money, and now have to spend more money buying a better quality crate. If the grid floor had better support this would be a great product. ... show more

This product is very nicely constructed and sturdy. Compared to similar items the price point was great too. Design wise it could be better. It advertised being able to break it down which it does come folded but you have to screw it together at the top. Instead of screws they could use quick connects or cotter pins that are tool free, especially for the roof. The removable tray could use a grab handle or rope as well. All in all it's a great crate and I'm glad I bought it. This was my initial thought most of which are positive and the opinions mostly still stand. The reason I am dropping my rating to two stars are for the following reasons. My dog 14lb puppy's collar has gotten stuck in the grates effectively pinning her to the ground unable to move a potential choke hazard so we removed her collar. Then we heard her yelp out screaming in pain more than one time but by the time we'd rush to her she seemed fun until the most recent time where her front paw toes were stuck in the grates. I hade to use a wooden spoon to bend the grates to free her toes. And on top of the safety concerns the grates are great for urine but a nightmare for poop. It's a good thing they are removable bc I have to take them out spray them off and scrub to get it cleaned. Won't be an issue when she's older but while training it's terrible. If you have an adult dog this might be better but I'll have to see at a later date. ... show more

The floors are not sturdy needs a better base plate to hold the racks ever time my dog enters the kennel the floor falls I need to weld a wider baseplate to hold in place the floor racks and keep them from falling every time my dog goes in

    • So great I bought it twice
Our poor rescue dog has bad separation anxiety, and literally chewed through a previous "flight safe" kennel. We bought this wire one hoping the open sides would help and if did! He's now comfortably kennel trained. Fair warning, he did bend some of the bars along the way. I think it's a clever design, especially the way it folds up with only 6 screws - great for portability. It fits in the trunk for trips to family when Mac joins us. The latch is sturdy and locks 'down' with gravity, reducing the chance for escape artist behavior or jarring the door, not that my dog has those tendencies. I ended up buying a second one when we were going to be away from home on an extended trip. I had Amazon ship it to the destination rather than try to transport the first one (even though, as I mentioned, it folds nicely). ... show more
