I finally found my color, Sand, I think! It is a trial and error situation, but I do like the ease of putting it on and not looking made up at my age 79! I’m using the silver compact. It is difficult to get out of the compact and it has only lasted about 3 1/2 weeks, and now seems hard to get out of the sponge and then onto my face. I have to press the sponge pretty hard to get enough makeup on my face and usually I have to struggle to get the look I want with the pad! Not sure why it seems the makeup is used up so quickly and also hard to get enough on my face after only after a few weeks. Yes, the price is good, it doesn’t take a lot to get the look I want, but it is difficult to get onto my skin after only 3 weeks! Maybe a little more makeup in the compact would be a great idea! Makeup in the compact should be available without struggling more than just 1 month. Nearly all makeup usually gives at least 2 months of use if not more! I really don’t use a lot of the product compared to what I’ve used with other products! It doesn’t last long enough for the price in my opinion. ... show more

I didn't want to like it. The marketing campaign annoyed me. Every beauty YouTuber was talking about the original foundation and I did not want to jump on the bandwagon... And yet here I am. This foundation rivals two foundations I wear regularly - Prada and Armani. I'm not typically bougie but I'm on a quest to find the best foundation for me. I don't think I ever imagined I would say, my favorite foundations are Prada, Armani, and TirTir. It's beautifully glowy without being dewy. The glow is from within. It's a medium coverage foundation that can be built upon. Of course there is value for the price. I use a flathead foundation brush from Target (Sonia K) not the pad that comes with the foundation. Yes, I have the BK brushes but I really like the Sonia brush and it's $10. I'm a light-medium olive and I got the 24 N and it's a solid color match for me. I loaded a pic so you can see that it doesn't settle into any of my fine lines and wrinkles. It does dry down nicely and I feel like it's pretty long lasting. I wear it for over 8+ hours and it's been fine. I do set my makeup with a touch of powder and setting spray. I am not pushing this cuz I will get some sort of benefit. I really am surprised by the awesomeness and affordability of this foundation. As long as you get the right shade, I don't think you will have any complaints. I have normal/combo skin. Oh, I'm 47 too, in case that matters. It doesn't matter to me unless my makeup makes me look older. If anything changes, I will absolutely update my review. ... show more

I am a big fan of the Red TIRTIR compact foundation, but this one didn't work for me. Coverage is very sheer, more of a tint, but even sheerer than my other tints. Color is spot on for my coming-out-of-a-tan-but-not-quite-usual-shade yet (which is 21N). Love the fact that I can get a mini for these short periods, I probably wouldn't have tried it otherwise. Has great staying power. Comfortable on the skin, I didn't notice a fragrance. Good for barely there coverage, otherwise skip if you need more than that. There was a healthy moisture 'glow', no sparkle or shining; does not accentuate texture or wrinkles. Older skin friendly. ... show more

I am 70 years old and tried many different foundations in my lifetime. At my age, I am willing to spend a lot, as long as it makes me look good. I tried the red Tirtir at the insistence of my daughter, and was very happy with it, but could not get the shade quite right (purchased 3 different shades). I tried this silver one and the funny thing is when it is first applied, it looked a little too white and too thin. After an hour or so, it seemed to blend in by itself and the color was perfect and it looked very smooth and even. There is definitely a more vibrant look in my face.
