    • Getting aggravated with it…
First thing the shipping and me getting it was great. But it’s getting annoying. First off I can only get it to open on time a few times. Changed the batteries out set it to open at 7am but it closes at 7pm. But my chickens are still out until 8pm. The instructions are really vague and only tell you how to set it for 5 am to 5 pm. My guys like being out at 7am till 8pm. Light sensor I presume does not work. The door gets stuck haft way opening, the drive gear on the door you’ll need to make clearance for it on a flat wall or it jams. So to update my review the seller and I worked through the problems and we have it working right now. The door jamming is the gear on the back side you may need to shim out the top of the door. I used a washer on both sides and problem fixed. As for the opening and closing time pick what time you want it open you need to be there at that time and hold K2 for 3 seconds to close do the same thing with K3. I was hesitant to order this door opener since it had no reviews but since it was $100 cheaper than the most popular alternative, I decided to take the risk. Materials quality is excellent. Very well constructed of steel and aluminum. Innovative design using a cog wheel and track to lower and raise the door instead of the normal gravity-powered door on a string. I have a feeling a lot of manufacturers are going to copy this design. Operates very smoothly. I gave it 5 stars because of the price, design, and materials. I probably should have dropped it one star because the instructions are awful (see images). Supposedly you can manually set a time for the door to open if you don't want to use the built-in light sensor but good luck figuring out how to do it. Fortunately, the out-of-the-box default is the light sensor, which works great. Good new product but they could use new instructions written by a real English speaker not someone who knows how to transliterate Chinese characters into English! ... show more
