Bought a TP Link Deco white Wi-Fi 7 2 pack mesh unit. Didn't work worth a ***". Bought the Nighthawk Wi-Fi 7. Works great fast threw put Covers my 2000 square foot house with ease. Streaming Starlink getting 300 Mbit plus. Only one issue. Using recommended phone set up was hopeless. Used hardwired computer, logged in with browser to routerlogin.net quick easy setup. 5 minutes max. Used the same SSID and password as old TP link...

I bought this to replace my 7yr old router provided by ISP. Placed it in the middle of the house and behind a TV (small form factor really helps). A wifi 7 capable computer is at 12ft away and it's able to reach full speed (ISP speed is 500Mbps). There are 3 other computers in other rooms of the house, farthest one is about 35ft away, blocked by 3 walls. That computer is only capable of 5Ghz but it can still hit over 310Mbps consistently. This is much better than my old router which has been having trouble staying connected on 5Ghz due to overlapping channels with neighbors' wifi. I suspect some neighbors have outdoor wifi or placed a router / repeater very close to the perimeter of their home, so I upgraded to this router for a stronger signal. The 6Ghz channel is a plus since I don't see any neighbors' router broadcasting in that band. It is an expensive router, but it's a bargain compared to RS700 or the mesh router options. A worthwhile upgrade.
