I picked up this smart projector recently and I was pleasantly surprised by it! I was very impressed as soon as I turned it on because the projected display instantly came on very bright with a very clear image. I'm used to projectors I've used in the past starting off very dim and taking about half a minute to reach full brightness, so having it come on instantly was really nice. Set up was pretty straight forward and simple. It walked me through setting up my internet and then I was all set! Connecting it to the internet is optional for anyone who wants to keep it offline or plans on using it in areas without internet, though you will be limited to devices you connect via the 2 USB ports, 2 HDMI ports, or Bluetooth for audio if you choose to not go online. For the built-in applications, I used Netflix, YouTube, and I was even able to get Hulu working on the projector itself. Netflix was super easy to get signed into, set up, and going, and YouTube you can open up and start using right away as you'd expect. You can go beyond the main applications they advertise here by going through the app store that they have built into the projector. On mine, I was additionally able to get Hulu and a small little weather application working directly on the projector itself. As I mentioned before, the back has 2 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports. The HDMI ports work as you'd expect, and I had no trouble connecting my systems like game consoles to the projector through them. The USB ports ended up being pretty cool. I assumed it was just for loading videos off of to play on the projector, but I was surprised to see that the projector not only recognized and played my videos on my USB flash drive, but it also recognized my photos and music and could display my photos and play my music I had stored on it as well! On the back, there is also a headphone jack, which is what you'd expect, and I also noted that there seemed to be an IR sensor on the back. At first, I was worried that this would mean that the remote that came with the projector would only work if it were pointed directly at the back of the projector, but it actually worked much better than I had expected! The remote worked no matter where I pointed it while I was in the room so I was able to sit comfortably in front of the projector and point the remote in front of me or wherever was most comfortable and not have to worry about losing inputs. The automatic focusing, obstacle avoidance, and smart screen alignment on this projector are AWESOME! No headaches here at all! It recognizes when the image is out of focus and will just fix itself, and it is also capable of letting you manually adjust the focus if you ever need to override the automatic focus for some reason. You can also manually make it auto focus if you need it to retry, though it nailed the auto focus every time I tried it. It even did it perfectly automatically one time when I accidentally walked in front of it for a small portion of the auto focus. It not only automatically adjusts the focus, but it also automatically adjusts the angle the projected image needs to be at. If you use the built-in stand on the projector and have the projector propped facing slightly upwards like I did, you don't end up with an oddly shaped projected image after the auto focus process. You pretty much end up with a perfectly project image every time! You can see it work in my attached video. The last thing I want to touch on is the Bluetooth in this projector. It can be used in two ways, as in, you can connect a Bluetooth speaker you have to it if you have a really nice Bluetooth speaker that you want to hear all of the audio come out of OR you can actually connect your phone or some other device to the projector and play your music through the projector's built in speakers! It was just a feature that I found really interesting.

I’m really happy with this projector! The picture quality is super clear, the setup was easy, and the sound is actually really good too. I love that it already comes with streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video built in, which makes movie nights so convenient. I really liked the auto focus but also used the manual focus so I could take off my glasses. The sound quality was good but added a sound bar for the movie theater experience. I was looking for a good projector to set up easily for movie night with the family and found the perfect one! The WiMiUS P62 Pro was very easy to use; I just plugged it in and pointed it at the wall from any angle. It automatically did the focusing and aligning so the image was flat on the wall with absolutely no headache. On top of that, the picture quality was outstanding! It’s built in speaker is pretty good and can get loud, but it also hooked up very easily to my Bluetooth speaker and completed the home theater experience. Would definitely recommend this projector if you’re looking for a cozy family night!

This is our second WiMiUs projector and we are pleased once again.for this one in particular, the picture quality is simply stunning. The colors are incredibly vibrant, and the contrast is so deep that blacks look truly black, not a washed-out gray. I've watched everything from nature documentaries to action movies, and the image is consistently sharp, bright, and lifelike. Beyond the picture, the user experience is what makes this projector a standout. The setup was an absolute breeze. It's truly plug-and-play, with a quick connection that gets you up and running in minutes. The intelligent auto-sensor is a game-changer. I love that I can move the projector around and it immediately detects the change and refocuses the image perfectly. I am thoroughly impressed with the WiMiUS P62 Pro projector. The setup was very easy. Power it on and it has this amazing feature that does auto-focus and auto-keystone automatically. After that you set up language and timezone settings. Then review and approve some conditions. Next you set up a WiFi connection. That is it, the setup took maybe 3 minutes to complete. Easy and quick. As soon as you finish the quick setup, you are ready to roll! It has great connectivity options with a USB port and two HDMI inputs, but honestly, the built-in apps are where this projector really shines. I love having massive streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube built right into the smart OS. It is so convenient because you don't have to worry about buying or plugging in extra streaming sticks. On top of that, it includes a super smooth browser app that makes surfing the web from your couch a total breeze. Plus, if there is another app you want, there is a built-in App Store that lets you download and install new applications in just a few clicks. I am seriously blown away by the picture quality on this thing! The native 1920x1080 resolution makes everything look incredibly crisp, and the rich colors pop beautifully whether you are watching an animated film or playing a game. I was worried about the lighting, but the 600 ANSI brightness holds up great even in a room with light ambient lighting. I got the the WIMIUS P62 projector a few months ago (09/2025). It turned my living room into a movie theater all by itself. Our kids are obsessed. Here’s the setup: Find a place in your living room 7-12 feet away from a wall, about five feet high, and put the projector there. Plug it in. Connect it to your WiFi. Done. An aside: the instructions say 6.5 - 12 feet, but my living room didn’t have that option, so I tried about 14 feet and, as you can see below, it’s great, crystal clear, and huge. It autofocuses all on its own, which is extremely helpful. If you disagree for some reason, you can manually focus it with some clicks on your remote. If you need to adjust the projection up a little, there’s a little screw underneath the projector. Twist it to make it aim higher. It’s pre-loaded with Netflix and YouTube, so we were watching shows about 7 minutes after I unboxed this projector. You can download additional apps, such as Disney+, Plex, and Amazon Prime in their AppStore. Using Disney+ is a little weird, though. You only have the option of moving around a pointer, which is more cumbersome than scrolling through icons. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s something to be aware of. I have a Plex account as well, and the app doesn’t show up in the “My App” section—it stays in the “App store” section even after you download it and log in. But it works flawlessly and its user interface is normal unlike Disney+. The projector has 800 ANSI lumens, two brightness modes, and allows for two HDMI and two USB inputs. I last had a projector in 2008 and wow, this is waaaaay better. Its Dolby sound is good—best I’ve heard on a projector, and its sufficient for my family’s needs. If you want to upgrade your sound even more, you can wirelessly connect a soundbar/system to it through HDMI ARC on the first HDMI input. One of the handiest features of this projector is that it comes with buttons on top of it. We’re a family of five, and all our kids are under 9. Remotes get lost, or broken, because kids do what kids do. So having that option is essential to me. A lot of TVs and projectors have opted to forgo physical buttons, so I’m glad this one did not. I took some pictures below to give you a sense of what you’re getting. You’ll see there’s a picture of the box, then all the parts, and then some other pictures of what it looks like. You’ll see that I, a Gator, got to watch my Gators get smashed, but in gorgeous, glorious color. I got to see close-up just how bad this team is this year…And, you’ll see two pics that show the two different brightness levels. These pics were taken on a mostly sunny Florida afternoon, in my house, which is full of windows. It‘s not much of a difference between the “brightest” setting and the “standard” setting, but the brightest is still a bit clearer and crisper during the day. After the sun goes to bed there’s no need to use the brightest setting. Pretty good, yeah? There have been a couple times in the past month where it inexplicably did not recognize our wifi. To fix this, I unplugged it, and then plugged it right back in. And it immediately worked again. I’ve never had any real issues with it. All in all, 5 stars :). There’s always little things with any new technology, but this thing delivers consistently and reliably a quality picture that is breathtaking in my own living room. Those quirks don’t distract from the overall awesomeness that is this projector. They’re just things you should know before you click buy :). I’ll follow up if anything goes wrong, but if you don’t see any follow up, it’s all good!
