  • Essential Tool for Nikon Z Users!
Style: Single
I recently picked up the Nikon FTZ II adapter to pair my beloved F-mount lenses with my Z-mount camera, and I'm thoroughly impressed. This adapter is a game-changer for any Nikon shooter transitioning to mirrorless. The build quality is top-notch, with a robust construction that feels like it can handle years of use. It securely locks onto both the camera and lens, ensuring a stable connection. I've had no issues with wobbling or play between the components. One of the standout features for me is the autofocus performance. It's fast, accurate, and reliable. I was initially concerned about any potential lag, but the adapter keeps up seamlessly, allowing me to shoot confidently in various conditions. Exposure and metering are spot on, and I haven't noticed any aberrations or distortion introduced by the adapter. The optical quality is impressive, preserving the sharpness and clarity of my F-mount glass. The compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry in my camera bag without adding unnecessary bulk. Plus, the included weather sealing adds an extra layer of protection when shooting in adverse conditions. Overall, the Nikon FTZ II adapter has become an indispensable tool in my photography arsenal. It allows me to fully utilize my existing F-mount lenses on my Z-mount camera, opening up a world of creative possibilities. If you're a Nikon user making the switch to mirrorless, this adapter is a must-have! ... show more

  • Excellent Adapter – Works Seamlessly
Style: Single
The Nikon FTZ II adapter is a must-have for anyone wanting to use F-mount lenses on a mirrorless Nikon Z-series camera. I use it with my Nikon Z5, and it works flawlessly—fast autofocus, solid build, and no loss in image quality. The design is improved from the original FTZ, making it more comfortable to use with larger lenses. Highly recommended for Nikon shooters ... show more

  • Turns a Z5 into a 10MP camera with DX Lenses
Style: Single
The build quality is extremely nice and it looks great on the Z5 and works flawlessly. But be advised that, if you use NIKON DX LENSES, your image size when projected onto the full frame sensor of a Nikon Z5 will be cropped. (Again for clarity purposes, I’m referring specifically to using this adapter to mount Nikon DX lenses to a Nikon Z5 camera body.) And I knew there would be some cropping. But I figured I could save a little (a lot) of money using my DX lenses from my D5600. But cropping down to 10 megapixels is just excessive and really negates the use of a full frame mirrorless camera in my opinion. Using this with FX lenses would not cause any cropping. So if you have FX lenses then you are going to be able to save some money and have no cropping of your image on the Nikon Z5. But if you don’t already own Nikon FX lenses then, in my opinion, I would buy Nikon Z series lenses as you can as the quality of these lenses is outstanding. (And to respond to another reviewer, this adapter, when used, as specifically stated, with Nikon DX lenses on a Nikon Z5 camera body most assuredly, without playing word games, will cause the overall end image on your full frame Nikon Z5 sensor to be cropped.) ... show more

  • Works well with my Nikon Mirrorless Z6ii
Style: Single
Product arrived on time and as indicated on website. The build quality looks good - metal connectors on both ends to connect to the lens and to the mirrorless camera. I will mention that this particular product does have some issues with the small pin that connects the lens to the adapter - so be careful! Speaking from experience and then seeing the same on various reviews. ... show more

  • Works perfect!
Style: Single
Glad that I am able to still use a collection of Nikon F mount lenses on my new Z mount camera. Give me time to save up for migrating over to Z lenses. This is a top of the line quality built adapter. Happy with it!

  • For your non-Z lenses
Style: Single
This converter or adaptor allows you to use many of the Nikon lenses not designed for use on Z series mirrorless camera. There are limitations however. Those limitations are readily available on the Internet product reviews. It works best using Nikon AF-S or AF-P lenses as it communicates perfectly with the mirrorless Z cameras. With any other lens you may lose auto-focus ability and possibly other features. Research your lenses before buying it. I have several AF-S lenses that work perfectly with my Zf camera making this a worthwhile buy. ... show more

  • Works with all my Nikon legacy lenses
Style: Single
It works for all Nikon lenses, AI, AIS, AF, AFS. Some may need to use manual focus, but the new Nikon Z body will adjust the view finder to compensate the stop down metering, it works well for me, price wise is a bit high.
