WORTH EVERY DOLLAR SPENT! I was tired of paying for $5-$12 coffees that were mostly creamer. The coffee pods are a little pricey but the coffee is amazing. Easy to use. And very quiet.

We had a vertuoPlus for 6 years and whilst going strong we were looking something a little modern looking. That said, we miss the auto open/close feature that has been removed with subsequent models. The open/close feature in the Up model is manual, but better than its recent predecessors. Relatively easy to open. Thank goodness ‘do your own’ volume feature is still available where you can adjust how much water for each pod type. Once set, it’s good unless you accidentally loose power. It is slimmer , which reduced the pod collection bucket. The sound of the motor is kinda loud, liken to an airplane engine! We think it makes more foam! Quality is still good and no dripping and hence less cleaning of tray. We finally found a decent replacement for our old Plus. ... show more

This machine should have never gone to market. It simply is not ready. The constant leakage is not minimal (as stated in other reviews from those receiving the machine for free), it’s consistent and constant. Every time you drop in a pod and make a cup of coffee, a huge amount of water splashes into the used pod receptacle and into the bottom of your machine. Not a little bit… an unusually large amount. I used the machine for two weeks before returning it. I had to line the used pod receptacle with paper towels as to absorb all of the liquid/coffee that was being sprayed into the used pod receptacle. This was not acceptable. Especially considering the price of this unit. My morning coffee ritual had transformed into a frustrating experience. I have been a Nespresso drinker for years and years… And even though their “crema“ is mostly foam, I’ve found that I enjoy their coffees and espressos. But not this time… even with the addition of making the machine a “smart device“, I found the options to change the temperature lacking. It really didn’t make much difference (if any) to my coffee experience. So please take pause and consider another Nespresso machine if you are planning an upgrade. ... show more
