Buy used this fabulous machine. My coffee maker and frother even arrived in the original box. Watch the used prices because I eventually got mine for under $100. I have never had a problem with used anything. The N'espresso and frother are sturdy and beautiful, Swiss engineering and powder coated metal frother. I need a mug of coffee and the Vertuo makes a 7.7 ounce as well as espresso. Pods cost $1.30 each. The price will never go down because the computer control of water injection customized to each blend is patented. When I think the $1.30 cost is too much I start with Vertuo and use my four cup Mr Coffee.

The Vertuo Next Deluxe Dark Chrome by Breville edition is by far a the most disappointing upgrade from the VertuoPlus Deluxe Silver by Breville edition that I just gave away ever. This machine feels and looks and feels like a cheap replacement compared to the other machines I have purchased over the years. The VertuoPlus Deluxe was an amazing machine, a gorgeous design, a large water capacity you could adjust to the right or left depending on where you are displaying it in the kitchen. The Vertuo Next has a ridiculously small water capacity, if you make to 2 to 3 large coffees you must refill the machine and because the designed with the dispenser it in the back of the machine it is hard to access if you have it flush with your kitchen counter. The overall depth of the Vertuo Next and is way too long now, overall, it is an extremely poor design. The nicest feature on the VertuoPlus Deluxe is the one touch electronic opener, it was a great upgrade from the Origional Vertuo Chrome. The new Vertuo Next you must force it right or left to open or close it and it is exceedingly difficult to operate it, you must hold the unit down which mean putting your fingerprints on the chrome to hold the machine down to open or close it. In fact, my wife is having trouble opening or closing it at all, so it is very frustrating for her. The new pod dispenser on the Vertuo Next is also horrible, when you open the top of the machine it dispenses the old pod into the pod trash container and unlike all the other machines, when it dispenses the pod excess coffee also drips into the pod trash container. I did not realize that until I went to empty the pod trash container and coffee spilled all over the place. Lastly the Vertuo Next is the loudest machine ever, and that really is disappointing and when it is making the coffee the froth the machine generates starts breaking down before the coffee even completes preparing. I decided to upgrade and purchased this machine because of the new Carafe Pour-Over that I was so looking forward to it. Unfortunately, this is my second day of ownership, and I have not even tried the Carafe yet but with all the functional and quality issues with the new Vertuo Next, I am not sure what to do. I gave my VertuoPlus Deluxe Silver by Breville to my sister-in-law because she loves coffee but now, I feel like I have an inferior cheaply made product that I would never in a million years though Nespresso would ever create. The Nespresso coffee is superior to anything out there besides going to a barista and the brand has always been first class, I feel like I might need to reconsider my position.

I love this machine for it's simplicity ND USER FRIENDLY FUNCTION. Just pop in the flavor and cup that has the amount you want in. I am a old head with my percolater but for my evenings.. this easy to use, no mess no grounds no nonsense. Flavorful so extra stuff is optional. Espresso is really good and all you need. More time for more water.

It's a Nespresso Virtuo. It's awesome, of course. I chose this model because I found a great price, but it's really large for my small apartment. The water tank is on the back, and the disposal receptacle is internal, so it takes up a lot of space. It's doing the job it needs to do, but eventually I will be getting a smaller model.

Makes delicious coffee! I noticed the mechanism that comes around the pod is now plastic and not metal and does not always pick up the pod and dump down into the used pod catcher. Besides this … great machine!!!

Love this machine. What a treat to have your own GREAT espresso, latte, Cappuccino, etc. right in your own home. Yes the capsules can be a little pricey, but have you been to a coffee shop lately - OMG they are expensive, not including the gas to drive there or the waiting. And so many varieties to choose from. After experimenting (and everyone should) we settled on about 3-4 different size capsules and types. The machine performs flawlessly and the coffee or espresso is hot, not luke warm like some coffee shops. Just drop in the capsule, wait for the light to stop blinking, press the button, and within less than 30 seconds you have a crema on top of your coffee drink that surpasses most coffee shops. Plus you also have the frother - so easy to froth milk like a professional (but get 8+ grams of protein in your milk or it will not foam/froth properly). We have had this for 6 months now and it works like the first day I plugged it in. My wife and I both use - she has her favorite and I have mine. I don’t think we’ve been to a coffee shop in 4-5 months. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this unit as it is used daily. Cleaning is easy and the flavors they have available are great. Only 2 minor complaints. First being the size the coffee. Not all caps are the same. Second would be the cost. Not the cheapest coffee around but less expensive as compared to going out and buying coffee. Doesn't take up much counter space. Still rating it overall 5 stars.
