I love my Nespresso vertuo! The airator cup whips milk to solid foam in 30 seconds! The coffee itself is excellent also! I’ve been a Starbucks girl for 15 years and I really enjoy this coffee and the ease in preparing it. Starbucks has lost a daily customer!

Update: 13 months and it just won’t brew coffee. It’s been descaled, rinsed repeatedly, and now makes a loud whirring noise for a few seconds and flashes red when I try to brew coffee. GARBAGE! I have wasted so much coffee not to mention milk in the morning when I try to make coffee. I would never ever buy this brand again. Here is my original review: Don’t get me wrong, there are times that I like this machine and I enjoy the coffee. That being said, for the price of the machine and the ridiculous price of the coffee capsules, I should be able to love this machine every day. One feature that is horribly missing and I can’t believe they wouldn’t have built. This is maybe a warning light to let you know that your machine needs to be rinsed within the next two uses but not on the morning that you’re rushing to go to the airport and you really want that coffee before your Uber comes. I had decaled my machine four days ago, and today as my hot breakfast was just getting ready, trying to put the cherry on top with a nice espresso. The red light starts flashing. There is no way it should’ve needed a rinse again after just four days. I only use this once every morning. So my nice hot breakfast gets cold tried to go through the rinse cycle with it. It didn’t wanna do that. I unplugged the machine several times plugged it back in finally it worked. Mind you end up wasting capsules going through this insert swear words here process. And another thing I didn’t like about it, and I should’ve returned it when I first got it, there was supposed to be a certificate for free coffee sleeves when you bought a certain amount and that certificate had been expired for a year. be aware, most food stores carry a limited variety of pods for this machine. so, if you want anything other than Starbucks coffee, you're probably going to have to order it online from Nespresso, or of course, here.

So far so good. The foam is not the best since most of it is stuck in the device. I am wondering if the type of milk you add matters. I add almond milk and the foam device doesn't do too good of a job. The espresso is a small capsule so make sure you get the correct one for your espresso machine. The coffee I make with the capsules is better quality and stronger than what I order at starbucks. When it comes to water capacity, the machine holds a lot of water but I do encourage exchanging the water every couple of days. The noise level is on the louder side because of it heating up the water for the espresso. The coffee comes out piping hot and the foam device has a setting for hot or cold foam.
