Sent this to my daughter in Germany. It only lasted a few weeks and shorted out inside. Blew the breaker in her apartment. I messaged the seller but got no reply so she sent it back. We are still waiting on the refund.

I couldn’t get rid of a strong plastic taste/smell despite running several containers of water through this machine. It left a multi-colored film in plain water brewed through the machine, so the hot water may be interacting with plastic components while brewing. Brews cold too. Do not buy.
