We had a great Nespresso machine for 10+ years and the CitiZ seemed like a great replacement for it after it died on us. I really wish I'd read the reviews that talked about the constant humming and other issues. We tried to resolve the hum by just unplugging the machine when we weren't using it. But the actual espresso shots were just so inconsistent I'm going to return it. We tried following Nespresso's suggestion of turning the button on and off 3 times to expel a few shots of water and clear the lines - but even that only worked sometimes. Often, the machine would shoot hot water into your cup before the coffee came out, so it would be all watered down. And the crema pales in comparison to what our old machine made. Very sad that Nespresso has let its merchandise go down hill because I really like their coffee. ... show more
