Very comfortable, and easy to use holster
Color: Black Size: BERETTA 92FS Hand Orientation: Right
I was looking into starting 3 gun sports and I was looking for a good belt holster. In professional use I've used Safariland gear before. As they say, you get what you pay for. While the Safariland is one of the more expensive options. They offer superior durability and function. This holster can be modified to a higher threat level use by replacing the cover. The Level one retention is very solid. Very little weapon movement. Yet at the same time, very positive feel and easy to disengage when needed. You can upgrade the holster to level II retention with the optional ALS guard. If you are looking for a higher retention holster. Safariland has a newer ALS holster, the 7360 7TS that is available in level III retention. I previously used a leather Safariland level III holster as a police officer and it never failed me. This 6390 holster has a better fit than my old leather holster, and I suspect it will last me a lifetime. ... show more

It's safariland enough said. Really though this holster is great. I have it for my Glock 19 with a light attached. I run the LAPG weapon light and a TLR-1 HL. Both lights work just fine. I have noticed some differences. For instance the safariland 6378 series holster for my Glock 19. The lapg light and the tlr-1 HL both fit smoothly. But on the 6390 series my lapg light it is slightly more snug. The draw and holster is still smooth but you can feel slight tension. It comes with an als guard, but if you're like me and want more retention you can get the safariland attachments that cover the ALS button. This holster is in black stx tactical. My Glock is a gen 3 just for reference. Hopefully this helps the many curious souls that surf the reviews for their answers like I do. ... show more

Solid, genuine product
Color: STX Tactical Black Size: GLOCK 17/22 X300U Hand Orientation: Right
What I received was a 100% genuine Safariland holster. It appears to be well built and offers outstanding active weapon retention. I'm not a big fan of having my gun sit at a forward cant, but there are aftermarket remedies to this if I just can't get used to it. After receiving this holster, I understand why Safariland is the standard used by the professionals who carry weapons every day for work. The ALS system offers great retention but is easy to release when drawing your gun - your thumb hits the ALS lever easily, and drawing with fluid, uninterrupted movement can be reliably achieved after only a few dozen repetitions. Great product, and definitely the first of many Safariland holsters that I'll buy! ... show more

Too tight
Color: STX Tactical Flat Dark Earth Brown Size: COLT 1911 Hand Orientation: Right
Horrible, excessively tight fit that shaves plastic off when drawing. Customer service at Safariland is no good.

Quality Holster
Color: STX Tactical Black Size: GLOCK 19/23 (LIGHT VER) Hand Orientation: Left

Bought this holster for my Glock 19 with a TLR-7 light. Fit’s great. The quality of the holster is top notch and reassuring when carrying. Despite it only being a LV1 holster, it has great retention. The thumb release system also works well. Haven’t found any down sides yet, will update accordingly.

Slim fit.
Color: STX Tactical Black Size: GLOCK 19/23 X300 Hand Orientation: Right
Great product. Fits my G19 Gen 5 with TLR1-HL. I like this model because it looks slim fitting and contour the G19.

Holster

I had to return since it was not for the weapon I used. Although the holster seemed very well made and appears durable.

Doesn’t fit….addendum
Color: STX Tactical Black Size: GLOCK 19/23 X300 Hand Orientation: Right
This holster will NOT work with my Glock 23 G5 and a TLR-1 HL. This is the second safariland holster I’ve bought in 2 weeks that claim the TLR-1 HL will fit and it doesn’t. Don’t waste your time and money. And I can’t even find out how to return it. Addendum: so I have learned a lot since this post. The Glock 23 G5 is a hair wider than the G23 G1-4. You HAVE to get a holster for the G5 or it won’t fit. And at the time Safariland didn’t make one for the G5. Safariland I know are great holsters, that’s why I bought one. So I’m assuming if you put the correct gun in their holster it will work perfectly. I’m sorry for the bad review. I was frustrated and uneducated about the size difference on the G5. I’m sorry Safariland and anyone I’ve mislead. I just wanted to correct my review. ... show more
