It was a constant battle keeping our little from sampling her fur siblings delicious kibble. This installed in literally a minute and is nice and secure! First, my dog was able to rip open the part that attaches to the right wall, which is attached by the sticky tape. I had to screw that on because the strap was working very well. I used this so my cat could get out & him & the dog could get used to each other so I really wanted to continue using this. Once I screwed that piece on, my dog was able to unsnap the piece that clips over the top of the strap on the door. This made the strap longer somehow, so now my dog could fit thru the door. I was not pleased when he came out with a "treat" from the litter box. It defeats the purpose of why I got this to begin with. I can snap that part back on, but my dog can still easily snap it back off & get into the room. Maybe it's just not meant for dogs his size, but I did read the reviews before I bought it & it worked for dogs bigger than him so I thought it would be fine. He's not that tall or wide. At one point he'd figured out how to use his nose to flip up the strap & get it out of the latch, butt that only happened once. My biggest problem is the piece that came unsnapped over the strap on the door. I even tried to super glue it when I snapped it back on, but since it goes over the strap, it didn't do any good. I'm afraid I'll need to return this. It WAS working while it lasted... It just didn't last long. ... show more
