First of all the shipping was ridiculously fast. It was free same day shipping. I haven’t had an order delivered to me within in 12 hours of placing it in forever. So when I first turned them on they were actually brighter than expected which is good because most solar panel lights outside are too dim they’re basically useless. Also these produce a very warm glow which is more relaxing to the eyes compared to most of the ones I seen and own which produce a much whiter light. Since these are mainly for night the warm glow is perfect. The way it flickers look very nice too. Just looking at the lights glowing feels like it actually produces a warm atmosphere even though these don’t produce practically any heat at all. I seen other flickering outdoor lights kinda similar to these before but the animation on this one is not bad at all. They were easy to set up. No instructions needed. I just got them so I’m not sure how long these will last but the walls are a thin sheet of plastic which gives it a sort of cheap touch to it. I had different outdoor lights which were made out of glass are definitely felt more durable but those basically because non functional after the solar panel part seems to have been damaged by the sun at rain. I hope these lasts longer but their lightweight makes it feel cheaper than our other heavyweight made out of glass but only produced a weak white light. Those you could see the light glare more than it shines on its surroundings which was not a good thing. But these new ones distributes the light very well so you can look directly at it without any harm to your eyes. Oh and I made this review before I even got to see them at night. So I have yet to see their full potential. But so far so good and I may update this later once I have more time with them ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was honestly surprised by these, I have a spur taste for solar pathway lights. They never impress me, well until now. First off, they don't really come with instructions, but at the same time it took my 5 year old about 2 minutes to put one together lol. One thing is I wish the materials felt sturdier. It is all plastic from the anchor spike, to the light it self. They do tend to wobble if bumped which is a little annoying. Just a little though. We put them out in our garden around 2 pm, I just checked and I was surpremly impressed. Every one of them works, not only that, they are bright and look awesome! I attached a video to see how bright they are. It's dusk out and still light enough to see, but these are lighting up my porch. I have not tested out longevity as of now, but I was so impressed I'm giving them a 5 star review. If I have any issues with longevity, I will update my review. ... show more

UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW One of my four lights has died within 1 month of receipt. Lovely Chinese quality. I reached out to the vendor and have not heard back. Lovely customer service too. I figured this might be the case with these lights, and I was correct. I will report back as the other 3 die. Don't waste your money. ----------------- These are great lights. The flickering flame appearance is pretty cool. The option to use one pole (about 18” each) or two is great, and so is the clip to hang it if you prefer. So far, I’ve been impressed by how long they stay lit even after days that didn’t offer a lot of direct sun. My only concern is how long they will last. Almost the entire assembly is plastic, though they do feel pretty sturdy. Time will tell, but I’m very pleased at present. Nice product. ... show more

I keep having to toy with and turn it on and off in the evening. It goes on and off to begin with. I tried turning it off for two days and back on). Directions say to make sure battery is touching the post (or something like that) but I don't see a way to open or get to the battery, as of yet, and afraid i will tear it up. I tried moving it around a few times, also. One evening at dusk I lost the sharp end of the stake that goes into the ground. It looks real nice when it is on, however. It does appear to have a lose connection. STARTING WORKING FINE YESTERDAY EVENING. JUST NEEDED TO POWER UP PROPERLY. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this to have a little extra light near the back door and back steps (for the dogs) without having to turn the porch line on and off and drawing in the bugs. The flickering from a distance looks so life like and it’s so pretty!! Other than that, I like how you can use this by hanging it somewhere (pictured above) or put it in the ground (also see above). I had it in the ground until some recent torrential downpours and flooding knocked it over so it didn’t have much solar power juice to keep it flickering when I took my video. It also has an on/off button on the bottom so you can turn it off if desired. I was bummed it only came with one but I’m definitely going to buy another to match this one! ... show more
