I've only used it a couple of times but it seems to be doing a good job. It has a good connection to the hose and you can choose the spray pattern you need. I'm happy with it.

    • Works great but light weight
These work very well to allow for many different types of spray patterns. Easy to hook up to the hose and easy to turn the head to choose the option you want. Not made of a heavy metal so it tends to want to turn over if your hose is not pulled just right. Would be nice if it had a heavier base.

    • Breaks Easily
This product worked for a minute. The sprinkler wasn't heavy enough to lay flat. If your water pressure is good, then you have to anchor the sprinkler. Then it started leaking at both sides of the hose link (where the hose enters and where the link attaches to the sprinkler) so that a LOT of water was dripping beneath the sprinkler instead of out into the garden. Then the pattern disk became harder and harder to turn, and eventually stuck. After a while, the pattern disk simply broke and just twirled loosely with no setting (so that the last choice became the permanent choice). The sprayer was easily clogged thus separating the spray, and it was very difficult to unclog.     • Perfect for small, separated gardens with odd shapes
This is a terrific small garden sprinkler. I have several small, non-connected gardens in unusual shapes on fairly hilly territory in my yard. This allows to me to set a pattern to fit each of them. It's a lightweight plastic so in a few areas I've had to weight it down to keep the pattern where I want it. I was doing that with small rocks but found that some U shaped metal stakes I had around from other projects do the job of anchoring very well. This is the only sprinkler I've found that fits all the different sizes and shapes of my garden areas. It's easy to move and change the patterns.The top is a dial so you just dial up the one you need and set it down. Since it's plastic I know I'll probably have to replace it every so often.     • I have had one of these for several years, it works great for spraying a flower bed without wasting water
I just bought 2 more as nothing else works as well for targeting the spray pattern and staying put because of its weight. My old one finally started leaking at the hose connection. I saw reviews saying it is not well made, but mine performed well for years. I also saw reviews that it is much cheaper elsewhere, but my searches did not confirm that. There is one from China called an Orbit that looks similar and costs just $7.92 versus Amazon's price of $13.04 total for this one including 2 day shipping for Prime members. But the Orbit cost $11.39 for shipping for a total of $19.31 -- so what kind of bargain is that? Amazon prices can sometimes be beat even including shipping and I then buy elsewhere, but they do a pretty good job of keeping total cost competitive if you have shipping covered by Prime membership. Also note that Amazon reviews include very critical ones that other sites fail to publish from my own experience, they seem much more trustworthy to me than other websites except for Netflix which seems equally trustworthy and reponsible. PS I just learned the old one only leaked because someone removed the rubber gasket, it now still works perfectly so I will now have 3 of them that work. ... show more

    • This is a really great sprinkler!
This is a really great sprinkler for small patches of grass. I had been using an oscillating sprinkler for a small patch of grass that was really a pain to set up and then adjust the water, over and over, until I got it right. It takes seconds to set this new sprinkler up, and really easy to drag it and change positions on the grass without having to turn the water off to do it. After using this just a couple of times, the patch of grass I have became more green, and any yellow parts completely disappeared in a few weeks. I didn't realize that my oscillating sprinkler wasn't doing a very good job until I had the appropriate sprinkler for the job. ... show more

    • wonderful patterns; hard to adjust
I got this to replace an ancient cheap plastic one that a guest ran over in her car. This new one is much better in the sense that it is metal and heavily built. The patterns are great. But my hands are nowhere near strong enough to adjust the rotary top which selects the patterns. I have to wait for a Big Man to come to visit. This should not be. ... show more
