This light is bright and I really like the material that it's made of. Feels heavy duty and high quality like I was looking for. But after using it for a few weeks now I do wish the buttons were place on the side of the handle as the light faces and in a different type of arrangement so it's easier to find the button your looking for by touch in the dark. It can be difficult to find the right button because the four buttons it has are all clustered up toghether and it's difficult to distinguish one from another. Not a big deal but something I would change if it was my design. So far the battery seems to last a long time and as for the magnets on this light they are good and strong but they should of put one on the bottom end of the handle also instead of the charging port being there and that would of been helpful. The UV light isn't something I really needed but it was way to cool to pass it up. ... show more

Hands down one if the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. This light has been great. I do a lot of work on my own vehicles and needed a replacement for a wired drop light and decided to give this one a try. It has been perfect, great battery life and bright. It’s not only great in the garage it has proved itself useful working under the kitchen sink to repair a water leak and in the attic replacing a light fixture. My only regret is not buying it sooner and not buying more than one. I will be buying a second light so I can keep one charging while using one.     • Excellent light
Bought this for work where i need a wide cast of UV light, and also at times a regular working light for dim rooms. The battery life is awesome, I use it every day for about 15 minutes at a time and I charge it maybe every other week. I have also had jobs where I needed standard working light for about 6 hours and it stayed on the entire time and still had some battery life left. The UV throw is wide and powerful. I refinish bathtubs and the primer I use has UV ink so you can see if you missed any spots and this light makes the entire bathtub light up completely. I do use it in the dark which helps the UV a lot but you can also use this in daylight up to about 2 feet away and still see UV dye shine. The magnets are strong enough that it holds it's own weight even vertically, but if you bump into it it will likely fall down. The hooks are also nice for me specifically, I can hook it onto the shower rod and light up the tub for hands free work. OVERALL amazing work light. Highly recommended ... show more

    • It can be really bright!
I bought this light for looking around in low cabinets- under sinks- under computer tables and on cars and boats. Problem is usually that the light is a round pointed dim beam-NOT THIS ONE! Wow- let there be light - and it spreads out. For the most part- you need to turn the brightness down. Really handy with the double hooks and double magnets. It is a nice bright stick so you can get it down in tight spots. I haven't figured out the UV part- but I am sure it will come in handy sometime. The configuration is very comfortable and has flat spots so it doesn't roll and can "point" to an area. Biggest challenge I have is memorizing where the on-off button is- cause you can't see it in the dark- No matter - I think I will buy a couple more for my big kids. I cannot see how anyone could be disappointed. ... show more

I bought this light to try out and it arrives. Right out of the box does not work. Amazon sends me a new 1 in exchange it worked nice. Yesterday 5/12/21 about a month of having it barely using it because it was still on the same charge worked in the morning turned it off and it's completely dead. Will not power on will not charge no indicator lights on nothing. Very disappointing. ... show more

    • Super bright UV light and fine control over brightness levels
I've bought tons of the Neiko led lights over the years because of the overall value of their product, and these are one of the best all around cordless lights around. Lets start with the fact that an adjustable brightness UV array is included with this light. It will make any UV dye glow with maximum intensity on the brightest setting, while the lower intensities allows fine tuning the amount of UV for the situation. This was bright enough to show a/c dye in a sunlit work bay, in which only a plug in UV light was the only option, now this will be what I grab for that purpose. The main light is plenty bright, with five levels of adjustment. On the brightest setting, its brighter then any other Neiko light I have used. I typically use the normal setting or next highest setting as the battery life will last around 2 - 2.5 hours on highest setting. On the normal setting it last 4-5 hours. on the lower settings it will last more then an 8 hour work day which is great. The redesigned case and red rubber grip is a nice addition. The older lights were easy to forget under hood especially if the battery ran dead as they had no other color but black on the handle. The new lights are more visible when off. They also integrated the magnets into the case and built a nice hook unto the top of the unit, a great improvement over the prior clip on hooks and magnets. They also have a blue 3 light charge indicator on the back of the unit that is always light when the light is on. The only negative with this light package is the lack of a wall wart to plug the light into for charging. They do supply the new USB-C cable. Used the older wall warts from lost lights so this was not a hinderance for me. Any 5 volt wall wart will work. All in all I am very satisfied with the performance and durability of this new design in a professional automotive shop setting and would recommend them to anyone! ... show more
