the rubberized grip is very well bonded to the aluminum, hasn't peeled away yet. Lots of attachment points. Comes with a wrench but no place to store it, but that's not a deal breaker because the other smallrig stuff has tool storage, and realistically you don't need it to get super tight to get a secure connection. This is a secure grip well built. It’s a solid fit without wiggle. Be sure to tighten it using a small hex tool through the holes in the dial for best leverage. Do note this is for camera cages with 3/8” - 16 locating holes. The fixed prongs that keep it from wiggling will prevent it from mounting onto anything without those locating holes. If your cage has those features and you don’t mind having a tool handy to tighten/loosen, this is a great top grip. ... show more

This handle is great. I didn't realize it has so many hot shoe positions till this review. Which is a plus. It has a soft grip and is very comfortable to hold. I like how it has the locking screw to lock it in place with the allen wrench that comes with the unit. This is great to use with my Atomos. The Cage I'm using is the JLwin Cage for Nikon z6.
